I would give ZERO stars if I could. STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!!! I was recommended this guy via Rinnai (tankless water heaters). He somehow was on their list of "qualified" service provider. We gave him $120 and the problem was never fixed. He had absolutely NO clue what he was doing. On the first visit, he didn't even open up the front cover and asked for gas money even when he didn't do anything to fix it. He said that since the code wasn't showing up he didn't know. After he left, the error code showed up again. He came back and we showed him a recording of the code when we tried to run hot water. Again, he didn't even open up the unit but claimed he ''reset the unit" via calling a Rinnai hotline and asked for $100. I found out later from Rinnai that there is no resetting outside of turning it off and back on. They also said he never called the hotline for assistance. He gave me a sense that he feared opening the unit up and that it would be this crazy huge undertaking. THAT sent up red flags.

We called another company and the guy knew EXACTLY what do. He immediately opened up the unit and fixed the issue under 1/2 hour. The guy who fixed it said it was an easy fix and anyone who claims they can service Tankless water heaters should be able to fix it.

We went through over a week of hot water(lack of) issues. I don't know what else he CLAIMS he can fix or build but I wouldn't trust him to connect two garden hoses after what we went through. If he can sign up on Rannai saying he was qualified/trained. Who knows what else he can claim. I can't get back my week of cold showers but wish I could get my $120 back. We ended up paying double the amount for a simple fix.
