He did a high quality job, was able to make his schedule work with what I needed and was able to incorporate last minute items into the initial work order! He is a professional, honest and hard working guy. He does what he says he is going to do on time and on budget! I am a local Realtor and real estate investor, I have worked with many contractors over the years. Fishhook Construction is who I choose to do work on my home and Fishhook Construction is who I recommend my clients use for work on their home!

We hired Vadim do put in our wood flooring. He was exceptional! Extremely courteous and professional; he always kept in touch and was honestly so pleasant to work with. He actually cut each piece of wood outside so it was quieter and not as messy (we did not ask him to do this) and he took his shoes on and off each time he went in and out. I've worked with a lot of contractors and he is amazing. You can tell he really cares. He researched how to put the floor in correctly from the manufacturer as well whereas other contractors might just install it as they had done before. You won't regret hiring him.

We hired Fishook Construction to do an extensive remodel on an attached garage. The project involved converting home heating and water from fuel oil to natural gas. Interior framing to cover log walls and include electrical, plumbing, spray foam insulation, then finished with drywall and paint. Upper shelving was fabricated and installed around the upper perimeter near the ceiling and built-in shelving was added to store recycling bins. Cabinets, countertops and lighting finished storage needs.

Through the bid process and working up to the start date, the owner Vadim was very professional, prompt and responsive to our needs. When he accepted the job, he informed us that his start date would be a few months out as he was currently on jobs. That was fine for our schedule and having not worked with Fishook before, I was glad he was busy. Generally, good contractors are busy.

The start date was a few weeks later than originally projected although once work began, we had someone working here nearly every day until the project was complete.

As with many projects, some decisions needed to be made after work had begun. Vadim was great to help us work through decisions and he maintained a steady determination to simply make us happy. We ultimately added work that was not part of the bid contract and Vadim handled it by billing time and expenses, which worked out great.

This job required the use of several sub-contractors. Vadim coordinated well with all of them and we did not experience any significant delays waiting for subs.

Vadim's wife also visited the project with CAD design ideas for the upper shelving and storage for recycling. She produced sketches of our garage to scale with proposed additions that helped us visualize what it would look like finished. We appreciated her input and skills.

One of the aspects I most appreciated about Fishook Construction is their attention to detail. Even though this project was just a garage, Vadims work exceeded my expectations and it's clear that he takes pride in the work he does.

It's always a risk hiring contractors and I've had my share of troubles, but I'm happy to report that I can recommend Fishook Construction and I look forward to working with them again.
