We recently completed a kitchen and primary bathroom remodel with Factor. We are first-time renovators and the Factor team made it an exceptional experience. The construction team was incredibly thorough, competent, organized, and solution-oriented. The four-month project was delivered on time and we couldn't be happier with the result. Early on in the design phase, we had some communication challenges, but the team was highly receptive to our feedback, made adjustments, and worked with us to make sure we were comfortable in our communications moving forward. We used Factor for a major renovation this past year and are very happy with the results. The best parts: a) They kept on schedule and completed our 10 month project earlier than expected; b) when problems arose (renovating a 100 year old house - there WILL be problems and if your contractor says that there won't be - run from them) they communicated quickly and effectively. They always had more than one option for us to choose from on how to remedy the situation and kept our priorities in mind; c) they understood our priorities and helped us make decisions knowing what those priorities were; d) all my neighbors commented on how quiet, clean, and respectful everyone was the entire time we were out of our house for construction; e) they genuinely have continued to follow up and check in after we moved back in to the house in order to ensure we were happy; f) the employees are delightful and I had so much fun getting to know them!; g) their choice in subcontractors was great - our woodwork is top notch, etc.

Was everything perfect? No. A renovation will never be perfect. EVER. So make sure you find a contractor that you trust will communicate with you, be honest with you, and will do high quality work. Factor is that company and you will end up very happy with the results.

We bought a 2,500 sqft Tudor revival that was built in 1906 in a historic Denver neighborhood. It was outdated and had a typical choppy, closed-off floorplan. We chose Factor to open up the floorplan, update the finishes, and add almost a thousand square feet. It was a big project -- almost a year of construction and several months of planning and permitting.

Factor is not going to be the cheapest option. We've remodeled five different houses and this was by far the most extensive project we've ever done. It was also unique in that we were overseeing the project from 1,200 miles away.

Factor made our lives easy by handling all the design, managing all the subs, and keeping us well informed throughout the project. The quality of the work is outstanding, bordering on flawless. They hold their subs to a very high standard. I wouldn't hesistate to recommend them and would hire them for future projects.

We did a major remodel project with Factor Design Build and we would recommend them to anyone looking to do similar work. The team and the project was dialed - there was always work happening at the house once the construction began.

With a project such as ours there were going to be some things that popped up and the response from the team and from ownership was always in line or above what we were expecting. That went a long way with us.

During the design process they provided the right amount of choices so that it was not overwhelming. The designer and architect gladly revised our plans multiple times as we did not know exactly what we wanted till we were in the process.

We would recommend Factor to anyone looking to do a remodel project.

We love our new house! It has been an epic journey to this point... after a nasty flood, Josh and his team stepped in to rebuild not only our home but our sanity. With Phil at the helm day-to-day, the FDB team overcame every challenge our project threw at them - from old services requiring replacement, new found ceiling spaces to create height, our design desires... I am thankful we chose FDB as no other team in CO would have delivered our project on time and on budget. I've already recommended Josh, Phil, Dustin, Kent, Craig, Matt and their subbies to anyone I know looking for a full service operation. They even make the admin easy 🙂 Will be having them over for a housewarming BBQ soon as became friends - we weren't just a job...

We did diligence on a few different design build firms to lead our home renovation, and we ultimately went with Factor Design Build due to the organization of their process and the professionalism of their team. We were not disappointed. From the initial design through to the end of construction, organization and professionalism was a consistent theme.

The initial design process was very collaborative, and Factor's team of design experts were able to help us create a unique space that integrated our style into our existing home. The construction process was methodically planned, and the construction team was able to quickly resolve any unforeseen issues we encountered. As a result we we're able to finish our renovation ahead of schedule and on budget.

We wanted to give special recognition to Gary our Project Manager who did a tremendous managing the job and keeping the project running smoothly. He, without a doubt, treated our house as his own, and the quality of the onsite work product was reflective of that.

We would strongly recommend Factor Design Build to anyone considering doing a renovation.
