I had a very good experience working with EZ builders. I worked with a Vitaly who was my project manager and he was very resourceful and skilled person. When I met with him, he brought several samples of similar projects that he did recently and he shared with me many ideas that could fit to my remodeling while he was very focused to what I wanted. During the second and third meeting that we had, he went over with me on all the details of the work and even brought a digital design of how the new kitchen will look like after the remodeling! The final kitchen remodeling was exactly like the design he had designed. The cost of it was fair and good and I never got the feeling that he is trying to add more money to the work or by making any short cuts. They had very skilled working crew as well and they were able to complete the kitchen remodeling in a very fairly time!

Working with Robert and his crew at EZ builders was a great experience. All of them were honest, skilled and professional. Prior to hiring them, we got few other estimates and EZ builders one was detailed, clear to understand and fairly priced. Robert took the time to got over the entire remodeling, explaining us everything and unlike other companies no one from them pressured us or tried misleading. We were very happy to do business with them and we valued that Robert and his crew were great communicators and all the meetings and completion date were all on time. Robert managed the entire kitchen remodeling and there we had no surprises or extras charges. It went very smooth than we thought and we are more than happy with the new kitchen. It looks beautiful and very functional. We will recommend them to anyone! Mainly Robert at EZ builders.

My wife and I hired EZ builders to build a laundry room addition for us and to expand the garage to fit an additional 2 cars. We are very satisfied and happy with how the work came out and with the workmanship and efficiency of all the people that worked on this project. The remodeling work was completed in a good timely while they focus on sticking into the budget and not increasing it at all. We are in love with how the new laundry room addition came out and with the huge garage space that we use for our cars. We will contact EZ builders for sure each time we think or plan any additional remodeling project!

We were definitely lucky people to have Vitaly and his team at our house for the remodeling project that we just did! Simple as that. They remodeled our kitchen, master bathroom and laundry. Everyone that was part of this work, was great person to work with, they were always on time, very respectful, helpful and problems solvers people. We were very specific and detailed with what we wanted to get, but Vitaly and his guys were really easygoing while open to our suggestions and questions. We loved and appreciated the fact that each time we came to the house after a working day, Vitaly was there to provide us the daily report and to ask us any question or comment about the remodeling project and hearing our input and support. Based on our experience with them, we now sure that for any new project that we will want to do or in case we will hear someone that is interesting in a remodeling project to their house of office, the first company that comes to our mind is EZ builders. Their craftsmanship is top notch and we truly valued their extra attention to all the minor details and more than that to some extreme design concepts and details that we didn’t think we can do! We can’t wait to work with these guys again!!

I had been in a search for a good home improvement contractor to take out my old kitchen and design a new and functional kitchen. At the end of my research, I ended up hiring EZ builders for that work. Beni the project supervisor did an amazing job by keeping informing me with all the progress of the work and by managing all the people that did the actual work at the house. Beni was very patient and professional with my design changes. His first design was the perfect starting point of the remodeling and he did it after a long meeting with me trying to understand what I want to achieve in the new kitchen and what are the most important features that I want to have and under what budget. Beni was at the house each step of the remodeling and he offered me many great ideas. We added about a 35 sqft to the kitchen and opened it from the dining area so it will be a much more open space area. I decided to go with a beautiful white cabinets (instead of the dark brown cabinets that I had before) and replaced the old counter tops with light granite. During the work, we had to upgrade the electrical and plumbing. For that part, Beni brought in his electrician and plumber. Both of them did an excellent work and they completed their task in a short time. I have been enjoying my new kitchen for a couple of weeks now and am very satisfied and happy with the way things turned out.

Having moved to the valley early this year and with little discretionary money, finding a fixer-upper as my primary residence was the only option to avoid paying into a rental. After diligently searching the MLS and other real estate sites several months, I settled on a home requiring $15k worth of repairs, and thus entered EZ Builders. With prior experience dealing with GC companies, I knew exactly what to ask. Fortunately, EZ Builders didn't beat around the bush nor did they blow hot air with unnecessary repair estimates. Like auto repair, construction is a niche that many societal patrons know very little, but I must say, the guys at EZ Builders are not your local run-of-the-mill shop. I advise, do your due diligence and look up this contractor and others on the State Registrar of Contractor's board, Attorney General and Better Business Bureau to ease your fears and build your trust with any construction company.

Foremostly, my biggest problem which i would sue him mightily for is the fact that he has taken 1 year and 4 months to get this small square 800 ft2 ADU to where it is now. barely finished in a shotty manner. with no final inspections passed or me having received a certificate of occupancy. 1 year and 4 months and counting.
when he started in 2017 he busts the gas line and wastes like a month to figure out what to do about. unethically, he doesn't tell me that i will be charged for this gas line burst until i just recently found out from SoCalGas that they will be charging me for it. and of course he refuses to pay it for me. i will be taking him to small claims court for it.
next insane major problem when he started in 2017 and beginning of 2018. he absentmindedly didn't realize this ADU, which was an old 1920s garage, did not have an adequate substantial enough foundation. so he started to build 12' walls without first checking. he just assumed. the walls of course start falling down. he halts work and then gives me a change order for $12K or more. i have the paperwork somewhere. so that he can make slot cuts into the foundation to try to make the walls stay up. this of course doesn't work. he then tears everything down and then finally realizes he has to excavate a larger area to pour an actual foundation. like 3 months or more of valuable time wasted and lost! and $12k later he finally gets it right. then this guy has the gaul to charge me $4k more for hauling away the rubble pile begging me to make a contribution to the cost while insisting he did me a huge favored and hooked me up! even though he charged me another $12k and wasted a quarter of a year figuring it out!
jacob demanded and took all of the final payment around the middle of 2018 way before the job was done. at that time he took the final payment, which i think is illegal, he was nowhere near completion. he still hasn't fully completed it as of today 03/09/2019. the contract was that he will get my final inspections for me which he has now refused to do, saying his job here is done.
basically, he didn't intentionally disclose the whole scope of this ADU refurb to me. he bid low to get the job. and then every step of the way when he realized he couldn't get it done by mickey mousing it he gave me high priced change orders every step of the way. of course it makes sense. when a contractor does this its hard to halt work and go get 3 bids every time on a change order. you want the job to keep moving forward with momentum. jacob did it to me several times other than the main foundation work and rubble hauling. he slapped me with a grading and retaining wall change order as well. his claim was he didn't realize that extended the square footage would demand this.
the written and verbal contract is that he will deliver it completed passing the final inspection with the city of LA and obtain my certificate of occupancy for me. he has used the excuse of the power upgrade and the gas hook up has not been done as a reason to not finish all of the work. while the gas and electric work may be true, he did not even finish installing all of the gas devices until late 02/2019.
basically as of first quarter 2018, Jacob kesablyan has been taking all of his clients money before he completes his jobs in order to pay off other debts for jobs that he has severely mismanaged or screwed up. i know this because this is around the time some serious complaints and reviews against him showed up on sites such as HOUZZ. he then cuts corners, uses cheaper materials rather than the agreed upon material, and tries to retroactively charge the client more for already paid items without proof.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. This company is beyond irresponsible, and has no right calling them selfs general contractors. We paid them $20,000 to get started, and guess what? They never started. When we asked for our money back, they kept telling us to be "patient" and now we pretty much lost all that money!! Dont fall for their tricks!
