In 2008 we chose Epic to execute on a whole-house renovation based on not only a competitive bidding process but also the recommendations of friends and colleagues. Best choice ever! We LOVE our Epic Design built patio. We had a tough problem. We wanted a shaded patio that provided an outdoor living space and provided shade for the southern facing glass wall of our house, but didn't block the view. It felt like an impossible set of constraints, but Epic came up with a clever design that met the constraints with style and simple elegance. From Day 1 the design has looked and felt like a natural extension of the house, not an addition. It has transformed the way we use our backyard. We had a couple of electrical and roofing hiccups over the first year, but Epic has been responsive in resolving the issues and getting everything right. They are a good company.
