Curtis did a GREAT job in engineering and managing the permit process for our recent septic replacement project. It required a full redesign of the system to upgrade the failing 80's system and his design and close work with ARM kept the project on time and on budget. He was personable, informative and routinely reliable in his arrival and showed up at critical points during the work to ensure any issues were resolved. He made a difficult process easy for us and the contractor.

I highly recommend Eklutna Engineering LLC to anyone who needs a skilled, experienced, and competent Engineering Company. I was in the final stages {10 days prior} of closing the sale of my home in Eagle River. It was then that I was informed that I must have an evaluation of my well and septic system. Curtis Townsend completed the wells flow and recovery rate and the proper operation os my septic system. He then said it would be fairly simple to establish the legality of my systems which should be on file with the Municipality of Anchorage. However, the municipality had no record of either the well or the septic.
I went into extreme panic mode.
However, because of his extensive business connections and his personal knowledge of the history of Eagle River/Chugiak areas, Curtis was able to track down the licenses and permits that were legally filed with the D E C, Department of Environmental Conservation. He worked closely with them to secure the documents that enabled me to close on the sale of my home on time. I owe a lot to him and his company for the his attention to details and his strong work ethic. Thank you Curtis !

Curtis did work for us this past summer, and it was quite an ordeal. We required a COSA to sell our home and Curtis found that our septic was taking on too much water in one trench. With it only being an 8 year old system, Curtis allowed us to take the time to troubleshoot the system and we were able to fix the problem. He also took the time to issue a waiver to the city so another issue could be resolved. Through many emails, texts, and calls Curtis was very patient with us and helped us pass our COSA. I will definitely recommend him to anyone requiring an engineer.
