Being 5 hours away it was great having a contractor you can trust who communicated so well at each phase of the work. His advice was welcomed and made the project so much better! GREAT COMPANY! Lucas and his crew did a great job. It involved putting in footers and pouring nine foot high, ten inch thick walls. Also, then pouring and finishing the floor with hidden footers underneath. He was able to deal with many challenges, the terrain, the rock and the water table. He handle each one with professionalism that went above and beyond. He was responsive and had great suggestions as to where and how to put holes in the poured walls. Followed the plans as dictated by the builder.

We are already planning the next phase.

Excellent job at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend them for any job.

In the last 18 months two projects have been completed for Katie and I. Both projects were normal projects with added elements that made them difficult enough that people said it couldn't be done or that it shouldn't be done because it was too hard. With the help of two friends, that believe as we do that anything can be done with enough fortitude and enough grit those projects have been completed. Matthew Faulknier cut a road right into the side of the mountain and did a magnificent job. He constructed a solid road bed, daylighted the road so moisture doesn't linger, and brought the aggregate that has remained for almsot 2 years. Matthew did all of this which allowed us to hire Lucas Faulknier to complete a poured concrete basement barely into the spring with less than ideal conditions every step of the way. Katie and I would not have even attempted these projects had Lucas and Matthew not been up for the task. Faulknier Enterprises Inc. And Eight Rivers Contracting will always be our first call for any project we need help with.

We had a rocky start with another contractor and...UGH!...ended up having to demo and rebuild our first foundation. Needless to say, we were nervous going forward. On the recommendation of a friend, we went with Eight Rivers Contracting and it turned out to be a great decision. Lucas and his hardworking crew came through for us in a big way. Following an engineered plan to the tee, they meticulously built a very strong 37'x70' raised slab foundation which consisted of 3' wide footers, 5' high by 12" thick poured walls, and a 5" slab. Throughout the entire project they were professional, punctual, courteous, and showed great attention to detail. Communication was excellent; always taking the time to answer our questions...and we had many! They even helped us with the extra work, like installing foam board insulation, a vapor barrier, and radiant floor heating. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a job well done.

Eight Rivers Contracting installed the foundation for our 32' x 46' Garage
Workshop with a stepped footing, 4' and 6' stem walls, a 6" slab, and a
separate 30' x 10' raised pad.  Lucas was very responsive and available,
always returning calls.  He listened and understood the plan of what we
wanted, and he worked with me for any changes, providing great suggestions
and involving me in the decisions to adjust the original plan in order to
get exactly what we wanted.  Working with the crew of Eight Rivers
Contracting was a great experience.  Lucas, Adam, Jeremy, and Joe really
cared about the results and their attention to detail showed in the quality
of their work.  We're extremely satisfied with the results, plumb walls and
flat floors, you couldn't ask for more than that.  The shop is built to
last.  Eight Rivers is easy to work with, competitive prices and we'll
certainly be asking them back for future projects.
