I was so fortunate that I heard from a friend about Eick Design when I was beginning the overwhelming task of interior design. The first remodel project was a total redesign of the floor space of a bathroom and master bedroom and it turned out better than I could have imagined. Mary drew up a new layout blueprint and provided the contacts for cabinets, flooring, tiling, lighting and furniture. Mary went with me to pick out all of the materials using her contacts and guided my decisions with expert advice. She explained design principles as we went along and vetoed some of my ideas which saved me time, money and disappointment in the end. I struggled to find the right bedroom furniture and she brought me catalogs and we picked out pieces from suppliers she worked with and customized to be exactly what I was looking for. The next redesign project was two bathrooms, a staircase, living room fireplace and mantle, flooring and laundry room. This was a massive project with so many details that could have made this a really overwhelming project, but I always felt I had Mary to consult with and to guide me and it all turned out better than I could have imagined! My husband loved being able to respond to any of my design thoughts and questions with "Just ask Mary...". She has great contacts in all areas of interior design and shopping for everything was so much fun! Mary even offered her designer's eye in helping me select the paint color for my home's exterior and helped out with some landscape rock placement. While we were out of town during the remodel for several months, Mary was checking in on the project and offered my contractor suggestions and guidance. My only regret is that now that my house is fully redesigned I won't get to work with Mary anymore.
