EcoSmart did an excellent job converting our garage into a 450 sq ft ADU. We love its clean, streamlined, and modern look and design.
Glendale is not an easy city to build in and EcoSmart did an admirable job working with the City to acquire our necessary permits, meet their unique requirements, and pass all the inspections. If there were any cost overages due to the City's requirements or additional requests from us, they promptly provided cost estimates.
EcoSmart responded immediately to our texts and emails and resolved any issues that came up quickly and responsively.
We’re enjoying our ADU very much.

EcoSmart has been a pleasure to work with. They converted our 400 square foot garage into a high quality, design forward ADU. They were very transparent and clear. Thank you to the ECOSmart Builders team for their guidance, support, and well-run ADU building coordination. I work from home and needed a place of my own, on site. Freddie sat down with me and we planned out my vision of an ideal ADU, utilizing my garage space. I was able to choose the appliances including: refrigerator, microwave, gas stove, kitchen sink, washer and dryer, among other detailed features to match my color scheme preference. The outcome is spot-on. But most importantly for me, Freddie was able to include a beautiful bathtub to the design. My existing house does not have a bathtub and my finished ADU has now become my sanctuary. I will never be able to thank my daughter Shannon enough. She previously worked for the company and advised me that this was the group to go with. Thank you to Freddie, Lupe, Jackie, Xavier, and all of the other quality members of the crew! It’s been life-changing!

EcoSmart did a great job in building and completing our ADU. We initially thought we would be renovating our existing garage but it turned out that we had to tear it down and start from scratch. Freddie and his team designed and built what we requested. His team and workers were efficient and conscientious. We had some issues come up due to City requirements. They all got resolved to our satisfaction. I appreciated that all his people associated with our project always wanted us to be satisfied and pleased with his work- which we are. He is still communicating with us to make sure we’re satisfied.
I would highly recommend the company to anyone contemplating building an ADO.

We're glad EcoSmart Builders was our choice to build the ADU from ground to finish. Their team took care of everything from A to Z to complete the project. Covid hit and plan approvals and permits were delayed by the city since it was new construction, but Ecosmart Builders kept on pushing to get the ADU done. We really like the outcome of their hard work and patience they had with us during construction. They always answered our questions of how things where going and the next steps on the project. I would recommend them to my friends for their professionalism and attentiveness to our needs.

Overall had a great experience working with Daniel and EcoSmart Builders. I was referred through word of mouth and after some research they check out. The examination and estimate process went really well, Daniel was helpful throughout the whole process and gave me a great price on Garage conversions. The actual work began soon afterwards and was well within my expectations - the crew was very courteous throughout and the work came out great!
