I worked for Tony Hamrick the owner of E.H. Beamery years ago. I had moved to Colorado and was looking for work. I responded to a rather intriguing ad in the newspaper that read, "Laborer Needed. Must be able to operate metal detector" After a quick interview, I was hired and tasked with using a metal detector to facilitate locating and removing metal such as nails from salvaged industrial timbers. Eventually, that job led to more demanding work such as running the sawmill and then on to working as one of his timber-framing crew. I own my own business now but as I look back on my varied career with many jobs with many different bosses, I recognize Tony as the world's best boss.
