Well planted, well planned park. Great walking paths, really nice flower plantings and veggie garden (produce goes to food pantry). The paths are paved, used by walkers and cyclists. The first day we tried to go there, we got caught in a huge rain storm. We sheltered under the porch of a small locked shed until the water eventually began flowing in from both sides AND from under the door of the shed! We were all wet from rain blowing in. Another adventure!

Nice park with plenty of room to do activities or go for a nice walk. There’s a lake with lots of pavilions around and a paved trail that goes around the whole park. You’ll also find tons of flat grassy areas and a small garden area. They just built two pickle ball courts and there’s an online reservation system. My favorite part of this park is that it links up with the MCT bike trails so you can come here on a ride and take a break.

Beautiful park with biking/walking trails, a small lake and a playground for the kids. There are several picnic areas with grills. Benches are tucked away everywhere so you can find the perfect spot to watch the ducks, geese and squirrels that make this park their home. It's a great place to spend a lazy afternoon.

Drost park is absolutely lovely. There’s playgrounds, pickleball, restrooms, well maintained sidewalks, and plenty of birds and squirrels to feed while you walk around the lake.

It is a hidden gem many people dont know about who live in the area. They have a free fishing lake (get a state license) with a boat ramp. They have a fantastic playgrounds, good bathrooms. Did i mention the one playground has a rubber flooring. They have pickle ball courts, and a workout square with rubber flooring also. The best thing is plenty of seating close to the walking and riding trail. The trail also connects to the county bike trails which will keep you busy riding or walking for weeks. Go enjoy some sun.

There is a nice lake with a paved walking path all around it. We see lots of people fishing in the warmer months. Our favorite area is a University of Illinois Extension Master Gardeners demonstration garden on the north end.

The City of Maryville lists the access options as:
*Myron Provence Parkway off Schiber Court, which is south of Vadalabene Drive
*Parkway Drive off of East Main Street
*East Division Street, which is behind the Village Hall
But Google keeps insisting on locating it on East Division Street only, since they can't find a way to list more than one entrance.
