Doug and his team recently did a major remodel of my house. Doug was very good about helping shape the project from the very beginning with his expertise and know-how. He has a pride in quality and ensured his team was not cutting corners or doing a sub-par job. He even worked with us when we were overseas at the end and was great at communicating updates along the way. We are extremely happy with the results and would recommend him to anyone.

We hired Doug Dodd and his team of experts to remodel our Guest Bath and Master bath. The guest bath was just an update with new tub, flooring, and tile.

The master bath was a complete remodel... taking walls out, installing a new wall and door where pony wall previously existed. Redoing the plumbing and electrical to install/relocate a double vanity, medicine caps and lights. Also involved swapping where the previous shower and toilet were located resulting in the need to reconfigure the stack.

It also involved removing popcorn ceilings and retexturing/painting the entire space.

The work was top notch. Doug is very detail oriented and picks up areas for rework until he is happy with the results. He hires a skilled team of other trades such as electrical, plumbing, and tile. All are very friendly, respectful and professional.

We could not be happier and would recommend Doug and his team for any construction or remodeling projects you have in mind.

Cost was very competitive and he listens and works with the client to meet expectations.

Doug and his team did an awesome job on a complete remodel of our main living floor last spring. The work has held up very well and every day we're grateful for our "new" home. Completely remodeled bathrooms, kitchen, replaced all flooring, knocked out walls, removed popcorn ceiling, added ceiling lights all over, replaced all doors, and custom built a new code-compliant stair railing, all within a hard three-month deadline.

His entire team and subcontractors are well-seasoned pros and were a pleasure to work with. Doug spent significant time helping us with some design ideas and overcoming small problems along the way. His and his team's experience really benefited us in the million little decisions needed on a major remodel. There were a couple of things that weren't perfect. Doug wasn't on-site as often as I'd like. There were a few times that I caught something done incorrectly (or not done) because I was around when Doug wasn't. Not a major problem, but worth mentioning (and easily dealt with by adding a contract clause if desired). Secondly, our experience with the painters was pretty dreadful. Doug warned us that could be the case (I won't go into why), but in the end he was able to get them to complete the work properly and made sure results were as promised. If I had another project for them, I'd consider hiring my own painters. But considering the scope of the project, we were still very pleased with the overall results and experience. We would definitely hire them again.

Dodd Construction just finished another project for me. They originally completed my master bath remodel last spring, I was impressed with their work so hired them again this summer to revamp my living room fireplace as well as numerous other improvements including painting my kitchen, replacing all my interior doors as well as changing out all of my electrical sockets and light switches. Since I have numerous home improvements I want to do Mr. Dodd worked with me to figure out which improvements fit within my current budget. I will definitely hire them again when I decide to complete my next round of improvements.

We were lucky to find Doug and his team through a neighbor. Doug and his team, as well as his subcontractors did an excellent job on our Kitchen and Master Bath Renovation. Doug was great at fielding our barage of questions and addressing and solving problems as they came up. He was easy to communicate with and toss around ideas with. He is fair and sticks to his word. He even hires a cleaner to clean areas where work was done. A really nice touch.
His team, Ryleigh, John and Alan that did the carpentry, cabinet install, baseboards and general contract work were excellent, with great attention to detail, were respectful and all around great guys. The tile work was done by Louie Contreras of Contreras Tile that Doug subcontracts with, and he did excellent work also. Plumber was good and electrical also. Doug managed the group of professionals well to get things done in a timely fashion and stick to timelines. We are very pleased with our new kitchen and master bath and highly recommend Doug and his team.
