I needed a basic service: marking the boundaries of my 0.8-acre property. I received a quote quickly, but it was around $4,000—above the average for King County. Plus, I only needed work on two sides rather than the entire perimeter, yet that had no effect on the price, which is absurd. I wouldn’t recommend this service—there are better options available.

If your doing a subdivision or short plat I recommend to keep looking and save tens of thousands and months or even years. This work needs to be left to the professional. I have a long list of complaints but first and foremost I was not able to communicate with the engineer to tell him what wanted or needed to do on my project, my calls were not returned. The planner takes the calls than sometimes the information is relaid , than when something else happens the planner tells you to talk to the engineer.... And every thing takes forever.
