Working with DBS was a pleasure. From initial design conversations with Amy to working out finished plumbing issues with Farley, everyone (with one minor exception) was easy to work with, conscientious, and skilled at their jobs. We were doing a small bathroom remodel project and before it started I didn’t fully understand the importance of the management role that someone like Maria plays. She was on top of all the different workers and phases (demo, tiling, painting, electrical, plumbing, materials, etc.). She listened well, was always very pleasant, and kept the flow of folks in and out of our bathroom functioning smoothly. We couldn’t have done it without her.

We've worked with Mark and his team at Design Build Specialists, Inc. for over 10 years and two houses. In our old house, they remodeled two termite-damaged bathrooms with keen design, efficient execution, and excellent results.

In 2019, they remodeled a powder room in our current home, and worked comfortably with our designer. We liked the results so much we invited Mark to remodel our kitchen in 2021, and we are incredibly happy with it.

Beyond being very technically knowledgeable, super organized (lots of Gantt charts!), and a master at conflict resolution, Mark hires great people who are invested in their positions and do excellent work.

We've had a standard amount of hurdles and issues come up, as they would with any contractor, and Mark is always committed to addressing everything, right away, to our satisfaction.

Design Build is not a discount contractor and you definitely pay a bit of a premium for all of the quality output and stellar service, but it's more than worth it.
