Hello everyone, I’m a 100% disabled veteran was trying to start a better life for my wife and newborn child. I spent thousands of dollars preparing to open a new business and found the perfect location across the street from UCF. After repeatedly being ignored by the Realtor® until he finally showed me the space, I informed him that we hadn’t been fully approved yet. So the leasing agent came out with it. I agree that they would not hold me to this lease or keep my deposit if I can show them proof that I was denied the loan not because I withdrew the loan, but denied the loan and I did that. We only had a conditional pre-approval. The landlord agreed to delay the lease signing until we received final approval on the loan. They also said they would be refund all of my money if the loan was denied and I sent them four letters of denial. We also found a more than qualified person to take the space to open the same facility I wanted to open he was supposed to be in my partner, but But since I didn’t get approved, we can’t be partner so he was willing to take the space in this company. Still refused to give me back my money.

However, when we didn’t get it, the leasing company kept our deposits, claiming we missed a deadline that wasn’t mentioned in the contract. The Realtor® pressured me into signing the lease under the impression that many other customers wanted the space and we had to act quickly. I reluctantly signed and gave up my partial deposit and first and last month’s rent, totaling about $11,000. When I showed the company that I was denied for this loan at four different places, they refused to return my money. I’ve lost my job and now these people are holding onto $11,000 of my money. I wouldn’t do business with this company anyway. They performed honestly, but it’s a disgrace that they’re charging me for two weeks of late delivery. They claimed we were late for two weeks, but they delivered the space on November 27, two weeks after the due date. I wasn’t holding out on them; I was applying for loans and waiting for the denial letter they requested as proof. I showed them the four letters from the lender, but they refuse to release my money. I hope you, the audience, can pressure them to return my $11,000 so I can find a new job and support my family.

Great Property Management Company! For the last few years we've leased office space in a building they manage and so far our experience with them has been very positive. They are attentive to the tenants needs and keep the building in great shape. Communication with them is always quick and easy.

Demetree real estate has scammed the community of TownHomes of Lake Fredericka. They do absolutely no improvements & have taken our monthly HOA fees for the last 10 years & haven't improved anything in this community

Problems are addressed immediately and we always feel like we are being heard. She stops in to check in on things and she gets the ball rolling on major projects faster than any other property manager we have EVER had. There is no task too big or too small. Our experience with our office location has been exceptional. The building we are in offers great amenities in addition to the great space we have, and the property managers are always very accommodating. 10/10 great experience so far, for the past year we have been here.

I’ve been living in one of the property administer for Woodlakes villages, and they are the worst, I have my A/C damaged right now and I’d been waiting since this morning for someone to show up and fix my A/C. In the afternoon I talked with supposed is the “regional manager” Westly and he said at 5:45pm the technician gonna be there in 15 minutes, is 7:08 pm and no one showed up…that was very un respectful and unprofessional. I’ve been requesting to have checked problems in one of the bathrooms and here I am still waiting They are not responsive at all when you need something been fixed.

One of the worst property managers out there. We rented a premises managed by Demetree for use as professional office space. As a professional in practice for 14 years and executive responsible for leasing/premises for 10 years, this is hands down the worst property management company I've dealt with. They are impossibly slow to respond to property issues and will re-assign your manager without notice or introduction.

As an example of the type of problems we experienced in our lease (July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2018), in the summer of 2015 the HVAC units stopped working. We had to deal with 90 degree+ conditions inside our office, making it unusable. We had to send a formal notice under our lease that the premises was untenantable and that we'd terminate and vacate if it wasn't fixed within the applicable time period, 30 days. On the 30th day, they replaced the unit and restored HVAC service. This single issue cost our business in excess of $15,000 in lost revenue and the company was completely unapologetic.

I do not recommend hiring this company as your property manager nor do I recommend leasing a premises managed by Demetree. They are truly a horrible company to deal with.
