We have been living in our house for over 2 years now. While we are enjoying the house and the neighborhood, it occurred to us we never submitted a review, of the person who made it happen. We have been blessed to have picked Mark Defurio has our builder. We moved in 10 months after construction of the almost 4000 sqft house started, while we were in the midst of Covid. His professionalism, knowledge has to be commended. He always put us at ease. He was always customer focused. For Mark “Nothing was Impossible”. He exceeded our expectations in building our Dream Home. It was the best building experience we ever had. Many thanks.

Mark abandoned my pregnant wife and me right before we were supposed to break ground after wasting 7 months of our time pushing back our start date.

When he finally quit on us I had to call the HOA and building department to check on our permits. Come to find out nothing was ever submitted while we were told we had full approval from the HOA and building department. The septic engineering was never even started which is typically a 2-3 months process. We also received an email stating the HOA requested revisions to our plans 10 months ago that Mark failed to tell us about.

7 months later here, we are wondering why he prioritized many builds before ours. We were truly taken advantage of and not communicated to this whole process. It was truly stressful even before the build began and I think it was the right move to step away. We were supposed to start our family in a new town this year and this isn’t happening because of the situation. Truly a shame.
