Shortly after 10am my wife and I were on our way to Meriter NICU to see our newborn daughter. We were traveling on Highway 12 near the Old Sauk Road exit. One of your older (red ish) semi trucks hauling a large excavator appeared to have recently entered the highway. There was a cloud of what I thought was dust coming from the trailer/machine, however once I heard my car getting pelted with rocks, I knew it wasn't dust. There was a large around of dirt and rock flying off this machine. While I understand things happen, this was completely unacceptable, and preventable. Per CDL laws, the driver is responsible for their load, regardless of who loaded it. There are now 20+ chips in my windshield, I’m just waiting for the cracks to appear to replace it.

Daniels Construction just finished a shoreline project for us. We were very happy with the crew's professionalism, the GM's attention to detail and and the general foreman's ability to keep the project moving with out disruptions or disturbing our neighbors.
