Gerry did a great job! He and the other guy on his team were efficient, and very respectful of my home and my time. We had them put drywall up that met up with stamped brick poured foundation in our basement and unfinished/painted ceiling. (Picture for reference). They did their best not to get any mud on the ceiling (that was our fault, we should have had ceiling painted after drywall was done, but it came off easy and touch ups will be easy……so we have opted to roll texture on ourselves rather than have it sprayed on.) They left my basement as clean as when they came in and the price was reasonable given these economic times we are all in. Overall we are happy with the finished work.

Absolutely HORRIBLE quality/service!! Our builder, Steeple Pointe Homes, uses Dakota and they've already been out to our house at least a half a dozen times if not more to fix mistakes they've made. They screwed up on the installation of our drywall with the trim. They missed texturing and priming areas. They used the wrong color texture and primer. They missed major repairs that then hold up the rest of the building process.

If those mistakes aren't enough, EVERY TIME they come out to do fixes of their own making they get the texture and paint on ALL of the finished cabinetry, tiling, light fixtures, and flooring. If getting texture/paint all over your nice, new, and expensive house isn't enough, at least one of their crew members spits chewing tobacco onto your subfloors, or finished floors he doesn't discriminate.

EVERY TIME Dakota steps foot into our house they ruin more things than whatever the reason they are there for. It makes it impossible to ever get anywhere with finishing the home.

I attached a photo of my finished floor with paint and chewing tobacco on it. I've also included two photos of the many spots of hardened paint on our tile and in the grout in our bathroom. I've also included a photo of one of the patch jobs we received.

I didn't take pictures of every mistake but have at least 20 more of the damage done by sprayed texture and paint from Dakota Drywall.

Super impressed with the guys from Dakota. Had a drywall repair needed after a large new window installation. Another local company quoted a ridiculous price. Dakota came in at a very fair price 1/3rd of the other company. Mark and Eddie did a fantastic job. Took great care of my house even while having to work near a very expensive grand piano and furniture. Matched existing texture perfectly. 2 thumbs up.

I don't know what the quality of their work is. But in Dane County right now there is a covid-19 mask mandate on entering any business. Two of their employees were belligerent about not wearing masks and entering the Kwik Trip in Oregon on the south side. They said go ahead and report us we don't care. These kind of actions reflect on a business.
