We found DLC on Insta, as sort of a last ditch effort to find a contractor to work with. We lucked out WAY beyond our expectations. What Dan and his crew built is designer, not just pasting things to a template. Dan has a background in engineering, and it showed in all of his recommendations and the final product. He worked closely with us to understand how we would use the space, not just what we wanted based on pictures. Throughout the process, he was in constant communication and was accurate in expected timelines, costs, challenges, and more. In short, this guy knows his sh*t and you won’t be disappointed. Happy to recommend he and his crew at any time. We plan on reaching out to them again in a couple of years for a kitchen and whole house remodel.

We converted our 1940 garage to a fabulous ADU - "the cottage" - with the help of Dan and team, who we first met when they renovated an original, 1940 bathroom and pantry for us. Their bid was competitive, the work is fantastic, and they go above and beyond to continue to help us out when needed. I've done lots of renos with lots of contractors, and they are among the best.

We engaged with DLC a little over a year ago for the conversion of our 360SF detached garage into a 510SF 1b/1b accessory dwelling unit (ADU). They did an incredible job! I am still in shock at how smooth the process was, especially after hearing horror stories about other contractors. Dan was great to work with and extremely knowledgeable about the entire ADU process, the latest regulations, T24 requirements and easements. As Dan is also a structural engineer, he was able to spec out a pitched roof for us making our space feel so much bigger. DLC drafted the plans, got it through city planning in around 2 months, and began construction right away. The construction process took about 3.5 months and we were amazed at how efficient and organized they were. We did not have issues with city inspections throughout the process. DLC stayed on time and on budget to deliver us a flex space we will utilize for many years to come. We would not hesitate to hire them again. Thank you DLC!

Dan and his crew came to my house to sound proof the two joining walls to our middle bedroom. Let me tell you, Dan walked me through the process, timeline, and cost. His crew finished the job early and we couldn't be happier! Everyone was kind, professional and and respected our home. In addition, you cannot hear any noise coming through the bedroom walls anymore! I highly recommend Dan and his crew at D. Loesch construction! We hired Dan and crew to build a backyard 800 sq ft ADU (2 bedroom/1 bath) on a rental property of ours. The build took place from May 2021 - May 2022 right smack dab in the middle of the supply chain crisis. Dan and his crew were amazing with a timely completion, especially based on the obstacles they had to overcome. The place is fantastic and we couldn't be happier with the workmanship of the project. Dan is very detailed and will give you an honest assessment of what will need to be done. Great job!!

Dan Loesch converted our run down shell of a detached garage, to the most amazing home office ADU ever. We went with vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, an amazing bathroom with walk-in shower, granite countertop for the wet bar and half refrigerator, built in cupboards and hanging closet. The space was a waste before we started and I was skeptical of what could be done. Now I use it every day for remote work with my standup desk and we put in a Bracci sofa sleeper, which is as comfortable as (or more) than a normal bed. What we now have is one of the best parts of our home--a totally insulated and private workspace and a self-contained luxurious pad for guests detached from our home. Dan and team completely knocked it out of the park with this project and they cam in very reasonable as compared with some of the other bids we were looking at. Dan is a good guy and if you are clear with what you want, he will deliver.
