We hired CRE (Cheat Road Engineering) to do an evaluation of our concrete driveway and sidewalk on our New Dan Ryan Home at Aspria Estates here in Morgantown, WV. The driveway was poured in Fall of 2018 and afterwards we had Morgantown Concrete professionally seal all the concrete prior to us moving in. After the first Winter, we started to notice scaling and peeling on all the concrete, which looked especially bad when it would be wet. This continued over the next year getting progressively worse. Dan Ryan Builders tried to say to say it was from deicer that we had put down, but we knew that this wasn't right. CRE had someone (Nick Webb) come out to our place in less than a week. He examined all the of concrete, he asked questions and took pictures. While working on his report he asked me to find out the exact type of sealer that was used on the driveway by Morgantown Concrete. He was very professional and caring. In just over a week, he forwarded me a copy of his competed report. It was very detailed and informative, including pictures. I e-mailed a copy of the this report to Dan Ryan Builders and after their review of it, they finally agreed to replace all of our concrete. They had also promised to send engineers to look at it, but never did so.--We don't know where we would be if we hadn't hired CRE to evaluate our driveway, but we are really glad that we did so.---We would recommend their engineering company to anyone needing such services.
