I came home from a trip to a flooded basement. It was around 10p.m. when I called Clean Image. The person who answered the call was sweet and let me know someone would be at my house in less than an hour. Although it was late at night, Louis and his staff were quick to show up and start helping me with my problem. They helped moved my stuff around and made sure nothing was in the way so that I could stay in my house while they fixed everything. They made me feel taken care of. I would definitely recommend them!

I had never experienced a water damage before but Louis and Clean Image made the whole situation less stressful and scary. I had a pipe bust that ended up flooding my entire kitchen and dining room. When I called Clean Image, they were quick and reassuring and were at my house about 40 minutes later. Louis was very clear with what work was going to be performed in my home and they did a good job and took care of all the water. I haven’t had any issues since. Thanks again Louis and Clean Image!!

Our basement was flooded. Louis was an excellent communicator. He gave me updates about arrival, pick up etc…He was also very knowledgeable about the water removal. His workers were very polite, not to mention hard workers. I give them my highest recommendation!

I had a water leak on Christmas Day. They came highly recommended. So glad we chose them because they did a wonderful job. I hope it doesn’t happen again but if it does I wouldn’t hesitate using them again. Very prompt and courteous!

I have a vacant home for sale in Florence. My realtor was referred to this company by Shoals MPE to clean up a small amount of standing septic water that was discovered by an inspector during his inspection to clear the property for closing. Our realtor contacted Clean Image Restoration to schedule services.
She was told someone would meet her there “in about 30 minutes” so she went directly to the property to wait for them.
After waiting for 45+ minutes, she called again to be told “oh I was only 8 minutes away so I went by and looked at it already. We can do the job Friday, (this was on Wednesday) you’ll have a quote at 8am tomorrow.”
When she didn’t get an estimate by 8:30 she began calling, to find they didn’t even “open” until 10am. She finally spoke to someone and received the quote at 10:24, forwarded it to me at 10:25. We discussed & approved the quote within minutes.
The quote seemed extremely high but we were willing to pay to get it done.
After approving the job, our realtor was told that we “waited to long to confirm, they sent out two estimates and they booked another job first so now it will be Monday”
Again, we said okay because we need the work done.
They called our realtor AGAIN saying now they could do it Saturday.
Mind you, every time they change their minds, we have to reschedule things with the inspector. I feel Clean Image Restoration was VERY inconsiderate of the other people involved in this process.
In the quote, we were to be billed $600+ for 3 sets of respirators, filters, gloves and other misc PPE. There were individual charges for suction and removal of water, pick up loads of debris to be removed, and treatment of a 500 sqft area.
On Saturday morning, my realtor was contacted by CRI to notify her they would be 30 minutes later than the original scheduled time.
Upon their arrival, I was met by two very young men in a small Sprinter type van who had no details of the job they were there to do. They didn’t know where the water was or where to access the crawl space and needed MY assistance in getting the job done.
Mind you, the quote included a charge of $160.32 for the service call performed by Louis 2 days prior where he says he went to the property & assessed the job.
While speaking with the young men, I asked what their clean up procedure was going to be and they explained they were going to “put a bunch of stuff down to dry it up and cover it with plastic.”
When I asked if they would be scooping it up, raking it out and hauling it off, they said no.
My wife then contacted Mr. Louis to obtain understanding about why these gentlemen didn’t know the details of the job. She also asked why we were being charged for services that these boys weren’t here to perform since they didn’t intend to haul anything away and she inquired about being charged for 3 sets of PPE when there were only 2 people there.
Mr. Louis’ attitude and disrespect towards my wife and my realtor were completely appalling. He was very unhappy when asked to explain the differences in what we were being charged versus what we were seeing.
Once it was clear that we were dealing with sketchy and dishonest people, my wife promptly ended the call and we immediately decided we did not want them to do the job. While my wife and I were discussing the situation, Louis apparently phoned the two young men and told them to not do the work.
We told them we appreciated them coming out, sorry for the massive lack of communication between them and their boss and to have a good day.
I believe that Mr. Louis spoke with my realtor and assumed this was a situation where he would be doing a job unsupervised at a vacant home. I feel he attempted to take advantage of our realtor thinking she would pay whatever she needed to get the job done.
CRI quoted us $2,095.69.
We had the situation properly cleaned up for less than $200 and passed off by the inspector.
CRI contacted my realtor asking for my wife to remove her negative Google review since “they didn’t actually do the job”.
So we added a second review to explain why they didn’t do the job. ?
