I will NOT purchase a home again if this is going to be who builds it. We have had problems with the home since it was placed on the lot where we ordered the home from. The backsplash wasn't done correctly per their contractors, so it all fell off during transport. We are missing 6 screens for our windows. Tons of cracks and messed up paint on the walls. Counter tops have chips in them from transport. Floors are messed up. I have tried to get it fixed since we moved in months ago with no resolution. They say their contractor was fired however they won't allow me to use my own contractor and pay them or won't allow me to buy screens and they repay me back. I have tried calling Gerald Cummings with no reply yet. We also got a letter in the mail about a defect for our home. This is ridiculous

Do NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE !!
Been waiting 6 months on a front door that leaks and water is getting in on a BRAND NEW home ! This is terrible…. They do not stand behind the work from the factory and the warranty people do not care about the customer, also had a water line leak behind the fridge and I found it months later and called them and they tell me “oh just cut the plastic and let the water drain and the floor will go back down” !!! They have been horrible to get help , I paid a lot of money for a brand new home and this is a disaster.

Zero quality control,And the subcontractors they send to work on your home are not qualified to make any repairs, Between there poor communication horrible quality control and un qualified contractors.,I would highly recommend looking else where for your new home purchase

Bought the Decker double wide model. Been in the home for about 18 months, have had 3 refrigerators, 3 kitchen island replaced, marriage line issues, etc etc etc. Kitchen and bathroom cabinets are cheap but I knew that when I bought it. Most of the problems appear to be caused by Edgewood Homes installation of the home. Have a wall on the marriage line that keeps cracking. I repair it and paint it and it keeps coming back. Suspect it has something to do with the marriage line that has been worked on several times. But since the home is out of warranty they really don't care.
Kitchen flooring is buckled and was told it can't be fixed, guess I have to live with it until I remodel the entire kitchen.
Love the size and layout of the home just wish it would last till I die in it, which I highly doubt.

My mom bought the Lulamae model because the design and layout are nice. The dealer told us that fit and finish issues present in the show model, and those that may arise during transport would be repaired by the setup crew. The house is now set up: the fit and finish are terrible, large gaps in the trim all around the house. Much of this can be attributed to how un-straight the walls are. I didn't think it was crazy to ask them to mask the poor quality and workmanship by caulking the gaps in the trim. I talked on the phone with "Gerald” and he wanted to talk over the top of me instead of hearing what I had to say. His answer was, essentially, "these are our standards at Buccaneer, live with it." I'm very disappointed in the quality of the house and the customer service provided by Buccaneer. I would definitely not recommend them to a friend. I would advise home shoppers to avoid them.

These homes are built very cheap quality, they’ll put you off for as long as possible with warranty work due to whatever excuse they come up with then come out attempt to repair, make matters worse then by that time your warranty is out so they don’t care…. Oh yeah we’re real sorry, your warranty is out …… not gonna lie buccaneer is the very worst piece of junk I’ve ever bought but I’ll never refer anyone nor will I purchase anything else with their brand
