We feel the same as many of the other reviewers that Classic is a top notch builder in the Madison area! We've built four custom homes over the years and working with Classic was our best experience. We live up in Baraboo and that wasn't a problem for them. The communication was easy and efficient. When you're building a house things can get pretty stressful, but we never felt that anyone at Classic was bugged by our emails or calls. Brea was so helpful in the design of our home and the process of reviewing the plans was terrific. They listened to all our needs and concerns and offered great advice. Even though it was the during the pandemic, we didn't have any long delays, which was great. We even moved in on time! We would highly recommend Classic!

Classic Custom Homes of Waunakee was the perfect builder to help us realize our dream home. From the first meeting we had with Bryan and Jennie, we knew they were the right choice. We showed up at their office in Waunakee and were impressed by how prepared they were. Not only were they curious about our family, needs, wants, and more but they provided a binder filled with details on the entire process. It was easy to understand and gave us the confidence we were looking for in a partner.

Shortly after we started working with them, we were paired up with their Interior Designer, Brea Bartlet. Her passion for her work, CCH, and our vision really helped us make the many decisions you need to make when building a custom home. Brea become an active partner for us and even though she had multiple projects going at once, we never felt deprioritized.

CCH and their staff were terrific. We couldn't be happier that we chose to work with them and we love our new home. Thank you all for helping us realize our dream home.

Building a home is a labor of love, especially when it is custom from top to bottom. That being said, when you build with Bryan and the CCH Team, you can rest easier knowing that things are going to be done 100% - all of the time. Luckily, we were able to be very much a part of the process, constantly stopping by the house to check on progress (probably to the dismay of Bryan!) and swinging in the office to make decisions and selections. I couldn’t imagine working through those past months with anyone else and constantly thank God that we had ORGANIZED, DEDICATED, and TRUSTWORTHY individuals working on our behalf to make sure things were done properly the first time around. Our house (being moderately sizable at around 4,600 square feet finished) was constructed in 5 months (Woah) and our new neighbors were astonished. Working in the real estate industry, we watched as much more simple homes got constructed at a snails pace while ours climbed with new exciting progress each and every day. I have also never seen a builder attend a job site as often as Bryan did, assuring that corners were never cut. We had the worst rains in Madison history and yet there were few days we didn’t see hardworking people at our new home (including so many weekends, very early mornings, and very late nights). We are well aware that this CONSTANT progress was very much due to Bryan and CCH’s reputation in the trades, and on top of that, we had the best of the best working to make our build become a reality.

This particular year was increasingly stressful as we were planning a wedding, moving, and building within a few months. There were times that I was so excited and yet so stressed I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. Honestly I would have never expected it, but Bryan truly took me in and made me feel like I was his own family. My husband, Josh, would tell me he would often just ask him if I was “doing okay and not too stressed out” which was completely unexpected, especially from your builder. Being that this was my first time building (and my husband’s second time) I had a lot of questions and a lot of influence from my parents to make sure we did things right and assure we would have the build that would keep us satisfied not only in the present, but the future as well. Bryan was extremely patient with both my questions and my parents and while he pretty much had 4 sets of eyes on the house the entire time, he never made me feel like I should be doing it any other way and completely respected my decision to have my parents be such a large part of the process. Keep in mind, I am terrible at making any decisions whatsoever, much less ones that are (quite literally) set in concrete. Bryan kept it light and helped me through the process, guiding us with his experience and expertise to create our dream home.

While this just touches our experience with a few members of the CCH team, there is no home that is built without the combined effort of many and we are forever grateful for the hard work of the designers, architects, office staff, painters, roofers, framers, etc. We get to wake up each and every morning in a place that has felt like “home” since our final blueprint was drawn. Beautiful units over priced to share walls with neighbors, but they should build a community center for the associations instead of more homes. Have a pool have a basketball court nice park and more. Not the most friendly staff I have worked with. I have an old saying it cost nothing to be respectful and kind, but could cost you everything for a 5 second attitude. Always be thankful

When I started researching builders for our custom home, I was drawn to CCHW by the extensive portfolio on their website. We took a lot of ideas for our home from other home designs there. When we went to Waunakee to meet the team, I was impressed by their organization and attention to detail. While we had some specific things we wanted, there were so many decisions to make, so it was nice to have the design team make recommendations for us. Throughout the build process, Bryan, Brea, Nicole, and the rest of the CCHW team exceeded my expectations. It seemed like every day I was getting an email or phone call from someone, whether calling me back to answer a question or confirming one of our selections. I liked using the Buildertrend app/website to know when various contractors were scheduled. Taking the kids to see the progress was a welcome distraction from remote schooling/COVID. It was exhausting at times but it paid off in the end - we moved in 5 months after breaking ground, ahead of the original schedule and several other homes that started before ours did. We enjoyed getting to know everyone at CCHW and it feels like a family reunion at the Parade of Homes each year. Highly recommend.

Choosing Classic Custom Homes to build our Dream Home was the best decision we could have made! We bought a property on Lake Mendota and had a basic set of plan for the home. We interviewed three well-known builders who specialize in larger custom homes and were most impressed with Bryan and his team at CCCH. We were most impressed with their systematic and professional approach to the building process. The other two builders had given us a build time of around 2 years. Bryan’s team completed the project in 8 months, with more attention to detail and craftsmanship that we expected. I cannot remember a day during the week when somebody was not working on the home. It was also common to run into contractors at the home even on the weekend. Their bid also came in significantly less than the other two builders. We liked his approach to bidding every aspect of our project out to three vendors and taking the most competitive bid. Some contractors were recognizable names to us, some were not, but the quality of people we met was impressive. It was great getting to know the craftsmen who were working on our home. Bryan and his team made us feel as if ours was the only home they were building. The whole team at CCCH was wonderful to work with, extremely accessible and the very best at what they did. Bruce helped a great deal with fine tuning our plans and made probably 60 revisions to our plan in the initial couple months of our build. Always eager and excited to get the revisions completed and back to us for review. Brea made the selection process fun and so easy for us. She was always prepared at each meeting and did all the background work so we could focus on the fun part of making the selections. She also worked seamlessly with our Interior Designer, which is often difficult to do. Jennie made the money side of this totally transparent and very easy to keep up with. Their online system for tracking draws, change order and overall costs made it extremely easy. And of course, Bryan. It was very clear to us from the beginning the Bryan is one of those rare people who is extremely good at what they do. He clearly has a talent for building homes and building teams. Having a builder who will work that hard for you and making sure everything is being done correctly, on time and under budget made this project rewarding for us. We are forever grateful for selecting Bryan and his team at Classic Custom Homes to build our forever home.

We had to make decisions from afar and Classic always accommodated, and make it easy; always keeping us in the loop with updates and photos.
