Well I was a mechanic for CJ Hughes and will say I do not recommend ever working for
This company I broke my back for CJ Hughes and tried to do the absolute best every day never did I not complete any task given to me in a timely manner was never late or missed any days the Boss Rick had something against me from my first day there after several months of working I finally asked to order my uniforms and was told to order them when my uniforms arrived I was yelled at and completely disrespected in front of all the other employees after I left the room The boss then told all the other employees he was going to deduct my pay before even speaking to me about it first I’m not quite sure why it would be any one else’s business I have no idea but he then later took me in the break room and told me that he was taking 4$ on the hour from me and that if I did not accept that then I needed to turn in a letter of resignation I was completely in shock and was devastated when he told me that because again I did my best every day I was even a union member and was treated this way I couldn’t keep going to work without getting sick to my stomach I was so uncomfortable and felt so discriminated against I am in recovery have been since 2017 and I feel like that is what the issue was this is hands down the worst job I have ever had when I went to work for CJ Hughes I really felt like it was a blessing but it was the complete opposite the way the boss treats people is just completely unacceptable the shop laborer got treated like garbage every day as well there is one thing I learned working here my goal in life is to have my own shop one day and the one thing I learned is how I will never treat my employees so please before you apply here take a minute to read this review

I just wanted to say that during this sidewalk project in Barboursville I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with most of the guys on this project (the sidewalk came right by my business) and they have gone out of their way to be considerate, helpful, but above all, they have done and excellent job! I just wanted to say thank you and it has been a pleasure having your crew working to improve the village of Barboursville and the businesses of our town! THANK YOU!!!!!

Never have had service from them but I'm a commuter biker and I was on a road without a shoulder and they didn't attempt to pass me for the quarter mile stretch and just patiently waited. I value people who care about other people and I would highly recommend them based just on their driving ability!

Was let go because I missed work do to my mother passing away. Was even wrote up for it by my foreman even after me telling him I would be off those days. Also had a situation with my daughter that I had to miss 2 days for. Way to many chiefs not enough Indians. Will never go back. And would t recommend

Listed as a "general contractor" but when I called, they said they are "underground pipeline for utility companies", and NOT a general contractor. Listing needs updated, I guess. Gave rating of 3 due to this, because the review would not let me post without giving a rating. I have no experience with this company, as they are not the general contractor I was looking for.
