Wow! The wife and I are super happy with our much larger beautiful patio thanks to Collin and his crew! They did such an amazing job and asked for my input on some key aspects along the way as well. They were very reasonably priced and we live in West Allis so our backyard is definitely not the easiest to get into. But I can't say it enough, thank you to Collin and the guys very at Chapman Concrete for making us love our backyard, even before we could walk on the patio, for the first time since we moved in at the end of 2020!

I'm not very happy about Collin Chapman and Chapman concrete. I originally discussed with his dad Cal (which i thought was the owner) exactly what I wanted for a complete driveway replacement, and specific things i wanted done. Cal assured me that they would be able to accommodate. Collin fell short, and i feel like they cut corners any chance they could.

In the contract it stated that he would remove the existing asphalt. Collin only removed half of my old driveway and when I brought it to his attention he just said it would be fine. My issue is that it states in the contract removal of existing driveway.

My biggest issue is that Collin charged me an additional 2000 for "extra concrete underneath driveway", the day after everything was removed. It wouldn't have been an issue with me if it was a couple hundred dollars but 2000 is over the top, especially because it only took them 5 hours to remove and frame the driveway, and they knew about the concrete before the job was quoted.

I work in the service industry and it's shady things like this that makes it so hard to trust any contractors. I wouldn't recommend Chapman concrete to anyone, and I would avoid them like the plauge. If you do decide to go with this company i would read their contract very carefully because they have it set up to basically do whatever they want.

I was waiting to here back from your dad to pay the rest of the bill because he even told me that 2000 is too high. He originally thought the 2000 included the downspout work that you did so I don't want to hear all of these excuses. You know you messed up and you had the opportunity to make it right and you didn't. I was happy with the driveway until I had another company come and inspect the driveway and they showed me everything that was done incorrectly.
I also asked you if there is any kind of warranty on the driveway and haven't had a response. So do you offer a warranty on your work since you don't want to respond to me over the phone?

I did not write this review to feel "validated" about not paying my bill. It is paid IN FULL. I agree it was late, but I had to come up with an extra 1800 that was not budgeted for the initial quote. I requested a final invoice and received this response "A lot of the issues here are related to the fact that you have still have not read your contract. Any further questions you have I am going to refer you to the contract that you signed". Not sure what that has to do with asking for receipt of final payment.

Great work and communication from start to finish! Prices were comparable and job was started and completed in the time frame initially scheduled. From the estimation to the finished job, we were impressed with the professionalism and care that Chapman Concrete displayed. Would recommend to any!

We couldn't be more pleased having gone with Chapman Concrete. Initally, we reached out to other concrete companies, one of which stated that the patio in the backyard couldn't be done due to logistics of getting equipment back there. Collin and his crew figured out how to complete the whole job, including the backyard patio and it all looks amazing! We had the entire driveway and front walkway redone and then added a new walkway on the side of the house leading to a backyard patio. They also buried a pipe for the downspout so no more extension to walk over! Collin and the crew are professional, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented. The walkways are against the house and I could tell they wiped the siding off so no concrete was splattered on the house. Their communication and response time to calls/texts are excellent. They work hard to get the job done in a timely manner but also incorporated changes that I wanted last minute. They responded well to this and definitely strive for customer satisfaction. They provided recommendations to improve the overall look and functionality from my initial idea and I'm so glad I listened to them. They truly know what they're doing! A few of our neighbors have already come over to find out who did the work because it looks so nice. We definitely recommend Chapman Concrete and will use them for any future concrete work.
