Very impressed with Dave and his team. We had to do a pretty complex reno on our property and working with Cascadia was a great experience. Good communication skills to a layperson like me which I found to be helpful in the process. Building/renovating is a stressful operation, anything that makes it a little easier is 5 stars in my book. We will be using them again - hopefully!

We have performed many interior upgrades over the years to our vintage 1970’s California ranch, but recently had the need for some decent structural modifications to add more entertainment space. After haggling with a few contractors that either didn’t understand some basic structural code requirements, or quoted as if we had money to burn, we came across Cascadia, who helped us engineer a solid addition that fit the architectural style of the home while maintaining our strict budget. Even had enough left over for a slate pool table! We definitely will go with Dave for any future projects.

Spent $20K on an admittedly complex 250 sq ft residential engineering project with Dave several years back. I was never satisfied with his very busy and ugly ceiling structure so discussed simplifying. The idea was to replace multiple 2x12s 2' on center with a more cathedral-like ceiling. Dave said it would be very straightforward to engineer two 16' beams. Was hoping for a fair price to make the revisions. He insisted on a $4K minimum. Disappointing customer relations. I understand his prices have gone up, but am bummed he doesn't have a program that assures prior customers of reasonable rates when modifying prior work. Sorry, I would no longer recommend working with Dave.
