Couldn’t be happier with Capstone. We had a deep 1960s era pool in need of modernizing. Capstone’s price was competitive, they were responsive, kept their promises, and delivered a fantastic product. I would recommend them to anyone.

It's taken me a year to sit down and write this review.
The year before I hired Capstone, (winter of 2022) I had 4 different companies out to give me a quote to do a complete refurbishment of my pool. One company provided a quote and it was way more than my budget. The other 3 never gave me a quote. I figured I would never be able to afford to re-do my pool and thought I might have to just fill it in.
But the following year, Jan 2023, I tried again. My pool lady, Peggy, recommended I call Capstone. Travis came out within days of my call. I had a quote two days later. I asked him to come back out and go over it in detail because I wanted to make sure we both understood what needed to be done. We figured out a few things I could change to lower my cost.

I signed the contract in February 2023 and was excited to get this project under way. Capstone drained my pool, jack hammered all the old plaster out, along with the tile and coping from both the pool and attached Jacuzzi. They installed new tile and coping, and I chose the pebble tech surface. I had already done the two skimmers the year before, but they did new up to code drains in the deep end, and new lights in both the pool and Jacuzzi.
From day one I knew I had hired a reputable company that knew what they were doing. It was a very wet winter and we ran into a few hic-ups along the way, but nothing that Capstone wasn't able to handle. We had many rain delays, but I wasn't concerned. My only goal was to have my pool ready for summer. I questioned every step and often requested John, the owner, to meet with me on site to go over some concerns and explain a process. John, all the workers, and the staff in the office, were great and put up with all my questions. They were professional, courteous, respectful, and friendly. I have a very very large pool with an attached Jacuzzi and I believe it was a challenge like no other. The end result was everything I had hoped for and more. My only complaint and it's no fault of Capstones, I did not care for the pool start up company, GL Pools. I felt they were all show and didn't know how to handle a really large pool. My pool lady, Peggy, has taken care of my pool for over 20 years and tells me often she has to treat my pool like a commercial account due to the size. I ended up paying her to re-do what GL Pools was hired and paid to do.

We had the best summer last year, enjoying the new pool and look forward to many more. If I can figure out how to post pictures with this review I will.
I highly recommend Capstone pools. ***** 5 stars all the way.

I had capstone refinish my pool five years ago. At the time, Russ owned the company. He was a descent guy. When they did the color wrong, Russ made them fix it. A year in I had a leak. It was under warranty and they sent someone to fix it. It was around the skimmer and they shot in foam to stop the leak. A couple years later. Same problem but getting worse. It’s structural and of course
now out of warranty. The new owner has blown me off for a week and now says he’ll give me 1000 off on the 4500 needed to fix it. I would recommend not ever hiring Capstone. It’s been nothing but issues and they don’t take responsibility for their work.

This company is awesome and reputable, the only thing is they are backup due to some many customers especially during or before the summer time. They are quick once they start the work. The re-plaster, install better pool pump which I already have and re-tile my pool. The owner Rush is great communicating and explaining the process from start to finish. they also gave me military discount. The down time on my pool was 2 weeks and we had rain during the process of work. They also did the my deco drain and Clay did the work. He did it 2 day replacing bigger from the original I had so he had to grind the concrete. The drain was meticulous installed and was fully flush to the concreate. It has been a 2 month since it was completed so far none to the tile are coming off, crossing our fingers. We are happy with the work and will recommend this company...

We were very satisfied with their work. They removed and replaced the tile, coping, light and plaster in our swimming pool. In addition, they removed the concrete around the pool and patio area and replaced it with pavers. A job well done and reasonable. We certainly would recommend them.

Never got back to us with a quote or a proposal after the site visit and despite our multiple calls to the front office. Kept promising to get back but never did. Travis from the office had visited our property.
