I recently had a sun shade installed on my back patio by Roman and Daniel, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the result! The process was surprisingly straightforward, and the impact it’s had on our outdoor space is amazing. Here’s a rundown of my experience:
My wife and I went with the Temu shade which feels sturdy and well-made—definitely built to last (backed by a lifetime warranty) through the changing seasons. Since installing the sun shade, our patio has become a favorite spot again. It cuts down on the harsh sunlight and glare without blocking the natural light or the view of our garden. The reduction in temperature is impressive.

Absolutely love our pergola. They did a terrific job. The product (Temo) is durable and the installation was a delight. They are a delight to work with in every way. We debated on the Temo pergola or a wood structure. Our pergola is big (18x33') and we saved over $13 going with Temo product. It's beautiful. Installed 8 lights and 2 fans. It is our new favorite place to go. I highly recommend Cal. Sunrooms. They were on time (early!), and had great communication. We live in the South Bay. LOVE LOVE LOVE it all. Thanks Matt and team!

I had an excellent experience with Glenn at California Sunrooms. After a golf ball shattered one of my panels, I was understandably concerned. I did a quick search on Google and reached out to several companies, but California Sunrooms stood out as the most responsive. Glenn was incredibly informative, thorough, and prompt. He quickly sent his team to replace the glass, which exceeded my expectations. The repair was done exceptionally well. While I still need to test the new glass, my overall experience was outstanding.

California Sunrooms also built my sunroom adjacent to my patio cover about six years ago and very happy with their workmanship and cleaning after themselves every time they leave for the day making my surroundings safe n clean. Thank you Team of Andre.

We wanted to express our thanks for the job well done to Joseph and his dedicated crew Peter and Elizeo. They did an amazing job from the start to completion of this project. Joseph went above and beyond his duties, always have suggestions and ideas to enhance the beautification of our sunroom. We are grateful for everything they did that now we enjoy looking at the fantastic view from inside of our sunroom. This is one of the best improvements and investments we made to our house. We are so happy that a second floor sunroom out of our master’s bedroom will be built soon. Of course we are choosing the same crew for this project.

The glass roof for our sunroom had some leaks and it was impossible to find any sunroom contractors to fix it. Glenn and California Sunrooms were the only ones willing to help us - and he certainly came through for us. Glenn was professional, responded in a timely fashion, his contractors showed up when scheduled, and was generally a pleasure to work with. We ultimately decided to replace the entire glass roof with a more traditional roof (as the glass roof turned our sunroom into a greenhouse-like structure), and we love the work that Glenn and his team provided! I highly recommend California Sunrooms and Glenn.

Holm Patches

We first called another company with a similar name who is closer to our home. We initially thought that they would give us what we wanted. Then they became uncooperative.

I called these guys next. Everything was great. The office planned Karl's visit. He arrived on time. We had our own ideas but made changes based on Karl's suggestions. Then we waited a while. We called Karl back & signed the contract. I also phoned Karl once or twice for updates & suggestions. We were told that there would be a delay partly based on the required permit. Karl suggested a ceiling fan but we decided it wouldn't fit the lower roof required by the existing house roof. He suggested lights which we bought & they installed.

I wanted the sunroom because it can be breezy where we live. I want to put in a hot tub to relax my shoulders & I wanted protection in the cold winter.

Everything they said was true. They were never tardy. Valerie in the office phoned multiple times with timeline updates.

Miguel & crew came for the preparation & to pour the concrete. Very polite & responsive. He noticed that the patio was sloping in the wrong direction so water could pool. He built a drainage ditch & covered it with attractive rocks.

Alex & his helper Vadim built the frame. Also very polite & responsive. I nagged him with questions. He answered & explained. We were surprised that Alex added two additional lights not in the original plan.

We are thrilled with the outcome. It is 15' x 17'. It looks much better than my photos. We are going to add our own flooring.

California Sunrooms in Rancho Cordova would be our choice again.
