After interviewing 8 companies, we chose Ca. Skyline to remodel a master bath. Some companies tell you they've been in business a long time--but always check their license for 1) how long in business? and 2) do they carry workmen's compensation? If they don't present you with the legally required "buyer's remorse" clause--run the other way. One company gave a lower price and said they could complete the work in one day. That's ridiculous--and the lack of quality we would have had to live with. One thing we noticed, and this is important: the workers for Skyline worked confidently--and were happy. We made various aesthetic decisions along the way--and often got valuable input. A worker suggested adding a towel bar which he modified and attached to a cabinet. Last minute water filters were added at no extra charge. Head crewman Biblioni was masterful in his craftsmanship throughout. A separate company installed our custom-made shower door. Their representative said they often find sloppy work that makes their job harder--this one was done with less than 1/16 in difference from top to bottom (more than acceptable) and grout lines were straight and evenly filled. Many companies offer to do work without getting inspections along the way. If you have problems later, insurance companies will not pay if there were not proper inspections. Be smart about it. Be even smarter and use a company with experienced workers instead of ones who hire new workers every time. Our bathroom is great.

We recently had our home remodeled by California Skyline Remodeling, and we are very happy with the results! The entire renovation was handled with noteworthy professionalism and attention to detail.

The team put a lot of careful work into laying the bathroom tile and installing new fixtures. They also meticulously put in new flooring in the kitchen and family room and painted part of our living area. Additionally, they removed the popcorn ceilings in three of the rooms and put in new lighting.

Joe and the team at California Skyline Remodeling were responsive and courteous throughout the process. They communicated effectively, ensuring that we were informed on an ongoing basis and that our concerns were promptly addressed.

We are extremely satisfied with the work done and are very grateful for the thoughtful work they did to truly help us transform our home!!

I needed about 100 linear ft. of fence built and an upgrade to an existing gas and electrical line. I had called around for some quotes and was pleased with Joe’s responsiveness and enthusiasm to take on the job, even though I’m sure it wasn’t in his normal scope nor was it a large project. Joe listened to my ideas and made suggestions on materials to be used for the fence. His bid was competitive.

The work started on the date agreed upon and was completed in the timeframe that was proposed with great results. Joe’s crew led by Biviano, were prompt, polite, and maintained the job site throughout the project. Joe’s professionalism is appreciated and I would trust Joe and his team for future projects. I highly recommend them to others!

We hired Joe and his team to handle our primary bathroom remodel and are very pleased only a few days into the work. While our bathroom is on the small side, in order to get what we want, it requires complete demolition and all appropriate re-configuration - so it is a substantial project. In our initial consultation, Joe provided great, space-efficient ideas and helpful suggestions for where to shop for the items we'd need. He has been extremely communicative and responsive which we greatly appreciate, as that can be hard to come by. So far his team has been quick and efficient and is meeting our expectations in terms of the daily schedule and progress. Attached is a before picture of one side of the bathroom, as well as a mid-way pic after the demolition. We can't wait to update this with a completion photo in just a few weeks!

California Skyline Remodeling (CSR) was our primary contractor for the past 3 years. We started with a bathroom remodel, then replaced all windows in our home, then a kitchen remodel, then a roof replacement and then a major demolition and rebuild of 3 rooms on our home. We practically did everything except build a brand-new home from the ground up. CSR handled all the architect drawings as well as getting the permits to perform all the work. The owner (Joe) and his team can pretty much do anything your home requires. Very professional, very clean, very organized and does everything to current codes and regulations. All required inspections during our renovations went smoothly, which shows how he and his team know what they're doing. If any issues came up (which there weren't many at all) they were addressed immediately by Joe and his team. We definitely stand by this company and would recommend them for any home projects. The first day, they laid paper down from front door to bathroom so that the house stayed free of dirt and dust. Each morning, the crew arrived promptly and quietly went to work - demolishing, dry walling, tiling, plastering, painting, installing - and cleaning up at the end of the day.
