UPDATE THIS HAS GOTTEN CRAZY!

David Shaw has sunk to a new low! He called me a few days after my review, and at first seemed like he wanted to make things right, but instead started threatening me, and got really nasty. I have a serious hearing issue, so my wife transcribes calls for me (I don’t get many) over the speaker and heard the whole call. I’m a big boy and am not afraid of the likes of David Shaw, but my wife was terrified and shaking after the call and said he sounded like a mafia gangster. As usual I could not get a word in edgewise during the 15+ minute call. He knew I backed away from filling a law suit against him because of money and my health and he actually said I was about to get a lot sicker and he would spend a million dollars and 5 or 6 years ruining me further. We’re seniors and that would be a death sentence for us. Shaw’s shameful, thuggish harassment of us is confusing and shows he has no moral character. I told my wife as she sobbed, that the good lord protects the righteous, and dear, we are the righteous! This has been the worst experience I’ve had with any business ever, and is now approaching criminal harassment. Beware!

In my opinion, if you buy concrete from this place, you do it at your own risk! $3,000 worth of concrete cost my family over $100,000 and we never got a penny from the owner David Shaw, even after he initially said he would do whatever it took to make it right (I know at least 2 other people who told me they were sold bad concrete as well, how many more?) When it came down to it, he hired lawyers and in the end said we would have to sue him to collect a penny.
As a disabled veteran, my family has to be careful with our resources, and could not afford to sue him. To top it off, I became very ill going back and forth with Shaw and his attorneys and had to back away. I have asked him several times since, to honor his initial promise, and finally asked him to at least give me the money back from what I believe was bad concrete and he basically just laughed it off, which has made it humiliating for me.
The problem started with ordering a specific mix of concrete for the foundation for our retirement "dream" home, which had to be lab tested for strength after curing. His product never came close to the spec he promised, causing us to have to tear out everything that had been built to that point. I would never buy from them again, but if I had, I would be suspicious of every crack no matter how small. In my opinion, David Shaw, has shown himself to be self serving, unscrupulous, unethical, and totally uncaring about who or how many he harms. To everyone, especially my Veteran brothers, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! All of this is my personal opinion based on my experience and perceptions of this business.

This was my first time buying this much gravel. I am happy and satisfied with my purchased. I bought a cubic yard of green gravel and it was more than enough for my wife's flower bed. She was happy and so am I. We got the gravel delivered to us the same day. It was a pleasure to do business with them.

Quick and easy to deal with. Pulled up and didn't even have to get out of my truck. They hooked up the concrete buggy, I backed up to the concrete chute, and they load it with the quantity you need and send you on your way

I travel from stockton to lodi just for their rocks! I have been coming here now for almost 6 years buying buckets of rocks each time. Workers are all very friendly and helpful. Best rocks sold here for rock painting!
