I have very exacting taste and a particular vision for my projects and Cal-For has always come through to make that vision a reality. I initially found out about this company when I wandered into a neighbor’s jobsite and found the crew meticulously putting an original parquet floor from a historic home back together piece by piece. These people are detail oriented which is very important to me.

I also appreciate that I have never had to deal with any “macho” attitude from anyone on the crew. They have all been hard working, good natured and respectful. And when I have had any small problem arise later, Cal-For has always been willing to come back and solve it. 5/5 stars.

I've done several significant remodeling projects over the years. Fernando from Cal-For Construction is, by far, the most reliable and honest contractor I've ever worked with. In many cases, Fernando has added value to plans and come up with better/faster/less-expensive methods of construction. He's also very easy to work with in terms of making last minute changes and (unlike other contractors I've worked with) won't use changes as leverage to increase costs. Further, he must be a great boss as his team of workers has been with him for decades.

Jaime will string you along and charge you for supplies you are not getting AND labor that literally sleeps on the job....Part of his games or bullying I feel is because the way he deals with me and my specific race.....I'm not black or white or hispanic.....I really feel he is bullying me based somewhat off of his implicit ideas about me and my race....... HE IS RUDE and NASTY when you ask for something like a date or time some sub contractor my show up....NOT NAGGING SIMPLY ASK ONCE and if he isnt in the mood or has no answer and knows well he should already be done with the job....he gives attitude .......I AM NOT making any false accusations...I can prove everything I have stated with pics and video except whether he is nasty with me or just like that with everyone! HIS GUYS LITERALLY SLEEP ON THE JOB NO JOKE !
