Our home was badly in need of a remodel.. I mean, it needed everything — new roof, walls, flooring, plumbing, appliances — in total our project included 3 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, a kitchen and home theatre. My wife and I had been dreaming of doing a renovation for years but never pulled the trigger as we were super nervous about hiring the right company for such a big, wide-ranging project.

We met with countless designers & contractors over a few months but were discouraged by what we felt the lack of transparency and what seemed like boilerplate low effort estimates and timelines. Clearly we were another lead that they just wanted to "process". Then we discovered BuildAppeal and their worked look amazing so we setup a call — after our first discussion we knew we had found the company to that we could trust with such a large project.

The design process was a breeze (make sure you get the 3d renderings, they are incredibly helpful in making key decisions).

During construction, all of our on-site jobwalks and meetings Lisa and co were always on time, super comprehensive and always more than happy to spend extra time answering our questions and addressing our concerns. They were always up front and not just telling us what we wanted to hear, but the actual truth (which was very different from my past experiences with contractors). They also discovered that we did not in fact need to replace our foundation (which another contractor had claimed we needed to) and saved us at least 75K+ - thank god for honest people.

Every day we wake up incredibly happy with our new home, and were nothing but impressed by every part of the process working with BuildAppeal. Their online system made it incredibly easy to communicate and pay invoices etc — felt like a new school experience with old school upright transparency meshed together, which for us, was great. Thanks again to Lisa and the BuildAppeal team for taking such great care of us and helping us get this massive job done for a fair price. Pleasure working with respectful and honest contractors.

We (my partner and I) did a complete renovation of our kitchen with build appeal and are completely floored with how well it turned out. Having gone through a number of terrible renovation experiences I wanted to find someone who could execute a project end to end, and would be real and honest with us, not simply tell us what we wanted to hear.
