Sebastian of Build and Decor Construction is simply the best! I truly enjoyed working with Sebastian on my rental property. He and his team did an excellent job painting the entire interior of the house along with installing new flooring in the primary bedroom, refinishing my kitchen cabinets and restaining a gate at the front of the house. Sebastian came in on time and within budget. His pricing is fair and his communication was excellent. I just can't say more nice things about him. Sebastian is genuinely a great guy and enjoyed working with him throughout the project. I would highly recommend him for any general contracting work and already have to a good friend of mine. Our four story town home of twenty years was in need of work to prepare for sale. We found this
marvelous team of men headed by Sebastian and team leader Dean. Twenty three hundred square feet of space, four an a half baths, a garage and laundry room were tackled by five
men all working together and each knowing his job. We had a couple of special problems that needed attention, and they were handled with care. This is the kind of project, you try to do only once in a lifetime. How lucky we were to find this organization.

We are the owners of a 2,400 (approx..) home in RPV, CA, built in1967 (55 years ago). The house was last painted in 2013 (almost 9 years ago) and has experienced wide climate changes over these years. We live near the coast, and historically it can be damp/cool and foggy in the winter/spring, then very sunny/warm and windy in the summer/fall. So, the house is showing its age and some structural components are wearing out as the house has endured through these shifting conditions. Thus, repainting is needed about every 8-10 years to address such conditions. So, it is time to repaint the home.
We selected Elite Home Remodeling, 303 North Glenoaks Blvd., Burbank, CA as our prime contractor for several home repair projects, including the re-paint. The prime contractor selected Sebastian Painting, Irvine, CA, owned/managed by Sebastian Rivera as the paint sub-contractor. Sebastian and his paint crew completed the paint job exceptionally well. There was a good bit of prep required, starting with a power-wash of the entire surface, removal of mold in certain areas, followed by filling of stucco and wood cracks, and sanding of repaired surfaces. Then the crew applied a high-quality prime coat all over, followed by two coats of Cool Life Heat Reflective Technology paint, to both the stucco surface and the wood trim surfaces (distinct colors for each). The result for us is a beautiful, weather-tight, climate-protected, color-coordinated painted structure. We are extremely pleased and highly satisfied with the paint job and extend our highest compliments to Sebastian Rivera for producing these impressive results for us. We highly recommend Sebastian Painting, Inc. to other customers.
An added note about Sebastian Rivera, the individual, and emerging painter-contractor. We found Sebastian to be very honest, responsible, personable, dependable, smart, approachable, cooperative, all notable and desirable traits customers expect of the contractors performing work for them. Sebastian indeed has the requisites for success in operating a painting business. Best wishes to Sebastian in his future business plans and movements.

Remodeling my house was a traumatic experience: contractors’ no show, “quick fix” below quality standards, high prices, constant requests for more money for “change order”, late performance, no QC etc…. I met Sebastian, very responsible person, showing up during the work in progress to inspect workers performance and quality. He did several jobs, including remodeling the kitchen: not the cheapest, but what is the price for peace of mind!!

When Sebastian came to assess the issue, he was thorough and explained exactly was was needed to be done. I got an estimate that evening. All of the work was done swiftly and professionally. Sebastian and the entire team were an absolute joy to work with! I received several quotes from other painters but Sebastian took the time and care to discuss every detail and component with me carefully and was patient enough to work with me to reach a common goal that fell within our budget. Once the project received the green light, Sebastian and the team were efficient and fit us into their schedule right away! Efficient sometimes results in subpar work but that is not the case here...everyone was detail-oriented and did a great job. I will happily use them again in the future for our other painting needs, and recommend them for yours.
