I had blood work done in his office, two days later he called me because he wanted me to have something done over because the level was high. Some offices , this would take a week or a month. He brought me in the next day for the test.

Dr. Magrane is very kind and caring. My waiting room time was only 5 minutes and was immediately seen by his interning medical student, who took my vitals and history. Then, Dr. Magrane spent plenty of time with me during the exam and answered plenty of questions. He was available to me once for a video call when I was sick, which was very convenient.

Dr. Brian P. Magrane, MD, PA, is certified as a family health specialist, practicing in Tavernier, FL (33070). He has been my primary care physician since at least 2010.
I see Dr. Magrane at least once yearly (for my annual exam), and usually for one or two non-urgent things that come up each year. I also really appreciate his willingness to squeeze me into his packed schedule (or at the end of the day) when I have an issue or concern that I feel does not justify an Emergency Room visit, but should not wait until next week. I have also been relieved by Dr. Magrane's willingness to schedule same day "telephone consultations," especially for contagious conditions like the flu or upper respiratory infections, or last-minute prescription refills.
Whether in the exam room or on the telephone, I have found Dr. Magrane to be a patient listener who takes time to answer my questions, and to ask a few of his own.
Importantly, I find Dr. Magrane's staff to be very good. The medical receptionists juggle greeting patients at the office's front desk, while answering and returning telephone calls, scheduling appointments, handling payments and answering insurance questions. Physician's assistants carefully prep exam rooms and patients before they see the doctor. Ive also dealt with some the very competent office staff that we patients rarely see, such as those handling medical records & billing, and found them all to be personable, efficient, and patient, especially when dealing with complicated health insurance issues.
I tried to think of a reason (other than "no one is perfect") to rate Dr.Magrane a four-stars (out of five), but I could not come up with one. He (like the hospitalnext to his his office, is associated with Baptist zHealth of South Florida.
