Kevin seems to busy managing all his online Pulaski chat pages to actually work on his business!
We met with Kevin and his wife on 2/5/24 to go over all the specific aspects of our build for the plans he had been sent previously. This build has an estimated budget of $550-600K.

At that time, he stated it would be 3-4 weeks to get us our bid.
On 2/7, he texted asking who else we were getting quotes from. No idea why, but seemed to already know we had 2 others bidding the build.
We patiently waited for weeks and never heard a word back. I then texted him on 3/4 asking how things were coming along, and he stated he was 60% done. He later told my wife he would meet with us early the week of 3/18.
After waiting another 2 weeks with zero communication, my wife once again reached out on 3/15 being that he was the last remaining quote we were waiting for. He stated he would set something up for early this week.
3/18 we sent a text asking when we were to meet, and after waiting to reply for 1/2 a day, he states that he is sorry he didn't get back to us, but that he "Respectfully declines" to bid our project! Ummm....what? Why did you waste our time meeting with us and then telling us you were working on a bid, only to wait until WE contact YOU to tell us your not going to bid it?

Needless to say, we had a number of people tell us not to waste our time with Brefco. Being that we had gone to HS with Kevin and never had any issues with him ourselves, we decided to give him a chance. Well....we should have listened to those folks, because this was nothing but a waste of our time.

If he wasn't interested, all he had to do was say it and not drag us along for weeks only to pull the rug out at the last minute!

We are very happy with the quality of the construction in our home, and would highly recommend Brefco Builders. We had a couple very minor follow up items in the past year and Kevin has gone out of his way each time to fully address the issue. Very honest and reliable - thank you!
