This place has a great atmosphere and superior service (professionals). Wow the Tomato Soup stole the show….both unique and delicious in a way no other tomato soup ever was… Don’t get me wrong the steak was solid, the mussels too above average…. But the beautiful tomato soup stole the show!

What a wonderful experience! Don't let the facade fool you, it's a pretty big restaurant. We came here for lunch with friends and it was fantastic. I say that because I'm a typical steak and wine guy and everything on the menu seem so foreign. I let them order and I must say all the food was all amazing. I can't pronounce most of it, but everything was great. Very decadent. The service team was top notch. Also, 100 percent was the ambience. Dining in the back room transports you to France. The vibe and energy was perfect. Highly recommended!

I have not had French cuisine in a while so it was fun diving into it. We ordered the Duck Liver Mousse, Steak Tartar, Escargot, and the Tomato Soup with Puff Pastry. I liked the escargot for the rich oily sauce it was in and the creamy tomato soup. The puff pastry in the soup topped it off perfectly because of the texture and the butteriness. Everything else was just standard tasting. For the desserts we ordered the Crepe Suzette and the Apple Tart. The Crepe Suzette was perfect and so good! Not too sweet and light. The apple tart was okay, the crust was super hard and all crust and no apple.

It was a nice place to try. The ambiance is cozy and the service was nice. The food was good, but nothing I would crave other than the Creamy Tomato Soup and Crepe Suzette. Definitely try this place and make your own judgement.

Love the food here. It's on the heavier side and the portion is quite large, but no complaints 😋

It's a bit more casual and relaxing relative to the other restaurants nearby. Felt a bit more local.

Good food, pleasant service and a very cozy ambience. Last we dined here was a few years ago, it still had the same "home" feeling to it, steak and duck were both well prepared, fries were crunchy and the onion soup light and delicious.

Duck was prepared with orange peels and a cherry jam which I liked very much. The rice pudding dessert was ok, not too sweet which was a plus. Our server was attentive and present whenever we needed something.

We try to eat here every chance we visit, it's walking distance from Bouchon and both are equally great bistros.

Wonderful and cozy French bistro right beside Hill Family Wine tasting. The food is sumptuous. We had the French Onion soup, Wagyu steak frites and chicken, all of which were fantastic. Seat at the bar is a good as a seat at one of the tables, so do try if comfortable. A must stop at Yountville.

Great dining in a casual atmosphere. No need to dress fancy … just come hungry.

Everything we ordered was amazing. If you are a fan of onion soup for a starter and profiteroles as a dessert then you’ll be especially happy.

The service was enjoyed as outstanding and very friendly.

Noise level was a bit high but that was due to one table of 3 guys who only seemed able to talk at a very high volume. Maybe they were stage actors practicing column projection. Or … maybe it was the 3 bottles of wine. Hope they weren’t driving

As to driving - parking was plentiful and free.

Amazing meal with the best service! Plenty of specials to choose from that I imagine change everyday with an extensive menu. The tomato soup was delicious and was my first excitement for fall weather! My husband had the lobster and crab cheese soufflé and wow, amazing! For mains we had the the lamb chops and short ribs. Both were to die for! The atmosphere was lovely, it filled up fast but still felt very intimate. Our service was phenomenal. Thank you for a great experience! Wish we had room for dessert, next time!
