We bought a house in the Hooker Oak neighborhood of Chico. It needed a new roof and our solar contractor recommended Bippus Roofing, as they had worked with them before. Matt Bippus came by and quoted the job and worked around our schedule, as we were getting ready to go on vacation for a week. His crew showed up as promised, and they were in and out of the project in three days. We're really happy with the prosecution and quality of the work. We highly recommend Bippus Roofing to anyone looking to re-roof their house.

I had a great experience with Bippus. When we put a new roof on the garage the estimate included a couple thousand dollars to cover some obvious dry rot, with a disclaimer that it might be more depending on how bad it extended under the roof. Once the roof was off the crew offered several options and we ended up coming in under the initial estimate. Matt operates his business with pride and integrity, the same can't be said for everyone in this industry.

My experience with Bippus was frustrating and non-productive. ~January/February 2019, I called Bippus to look at a soft spot on my roof. I called Bippus because they put the roof on the house before I bought it so it made sense to have them look at it. We made an appointment and the guy didn't show up. Time goes on, I forget about the soft spot until summer 2019 so I call again. The day and time of the appointment arrives and nobody shows up. I call Matt Bippus, he apologizes for forgetting and sends over his nephew because he (Matt) is on his way to Sacramento. The nephew looks at the roof and says that they can come out in the next couple of weeks to take off the tiles and see what's going on. A couple of weeks passes, I haven't heard from Bippus so I call them. We set up an appointment. The appointment time comes and goes - nobody shows up. I call Bippus, he says that he is busy with a bunch of commercial projects and that he'll get to me in a couple of weeks. Okay, fine. I get it. My roof isn't an emergency. A couple of weeks goes by, no word from Bippus. We go through one more round of this and eventually I just give up. At no point did Bippus reach out to me to let me know how things were looking and when they would be able to get to my roof. So.....if you want to go with Bippus get used to the idea that communication (ie - respect) is poor and recognize that you'll be stood up a few times and that your roof is unlikely to get fixed within a 3-6 month time frame. Eventually, I went with Powell Roofing. They were at my house within 4 days of my first phone call.
