Absolutely would recommend Bertram Builders. A car hit our house bashing in an exterior pillar, bathroom wall & everything attached. Communication from the start was great, cleaned up daily. Felt completely safe with the team coming in & out throughout the days. Job included exterior stone work, siding, electrical, plumbing, framing, tile work & paint. Basically putting the bathroom back together. Trim work was especially great. Very pleased with finished result.

I’ve never used BertramBuilders for construction. But every morning, one of their employees in a Bertram truck speeds down Day Valley Road in Aptos, around 7:50 at 50 or so mph! I’ve tried calling the number n the website but no one answers. We have children on the side of the road waiting for the school bus, and this guy speeds by so fast, I could barely get the name on the side of the truck! Please stop using Day Valley Road if you can’t go the speed limit. It’s 25.

I was extremely pleased by the work done by Bertram Builders and wouldn't hesitate to call them again for any future construction needs. I can't think of enough good things to say about them - Nick & his crew replaced an old multi-story wooden deck from the ground up, with an aluminum one I chose from Nexan. They were prompt, accurate, on-time, easy to communicate with, pleasant to be around, and did quality work. We used Nexan aluminum deck boards & steps/railings that I had shipped in, and they worked closely with me to review drawings and interfaced directly with the manufacturer to resolve any questions. They cleaned up each day, and removed all of the waste material. The construction crew was always positive, respectful, and a pleasure to have at the house. Any questions/concerns I would bring up were immediately addressed, and I was very happy with the finished deck.
