Dowd came and repaired my sewer line. They were quick, thorough, honest, professional. Dowd put everything back together and cleaned up, and for a fraction of what another company had bid the job for. They kept in contact throughout the process. I have been singing their praises to lots of people. Dowd excavating is an example of how a company should do business.

I am grateful I called Ben Dowd Excavating to replace my water main. Efren was very helpful and the crew did a great job minimizing the damage to my landscaping and repairing cut sprinkler lines. The work needed to be completed in the winter, which was more challenging.

I called in the summer of 2023 to obtain an estimate for replacing a broken residential sewer line. Came out the next day and looked things over, provided a highly competitive estimate and performed the work quickly and efficiently the following week, at a significant savings over estimates received from plumbing companies. We have lived in Grand Junction for 53 plus years.
Since we met Ben Dowd and his fledgling company many years ago, we have not needed anyone else.
He has done clean outs, replaced sewer lines, etc for us and our families.
Just recently, Ben's team helped me with a drainage problem.
A project that would have cost over $40,000
was reduced to less than $5,000 after I followed Rebecca and John's suggestions.

Ben Dowd is a local, family operated, honest, and hardworking company. Their prices are fair and their work is honest. It can be hard to find good contractors these days. These guys set the bar high! The workers are experienced and do great work. I’ve recommended them to friends and they’ve had the same experience. Gotta love an honest local company like this!

This company installed my new septic system for our new house. They were very professional and went above and beyond to make sure that it passed all inspections and everything worked properly. The employees that I interacted with were professional and polite at all times. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs any kind of dirt work done!
