I realize this might be where people give you reviews on your work, but I just wanted to say I am loving Izzy‘s TV show Izzy does it! I have always loved every flip or flop episodes better when Izzy was on the show and I’m really looking forward to more From his incredible family. I wish I could get Izzy to West Tennessee to do some work for me, but there’s two problems with that, one he probably wouldn’t come to the West Tennessee and Two I have to have money to get work done! We are close to retirement and don’t have a lot of money….. lol

We recently completed a full remodel of our 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom, 1,500-square-foot home with Battres Construction, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the end result. Izzy (the owner) and Kayla (the designer) evaluated the property and provided a clear, itemized bid that broke down every aspect of the project. Together, we refined the details to ensure the final plan met my vision while maintaining Battres’ commitment to quality and satisfaction. This transparent and collaborative approach gave me complete confidence in their ability to deliver.

The design process was another standout aspect of working with Battres. Kayla made navigating the design elements—often the most stressful part of a remodel—easy and even enjoyable. She presented both conservative and bold design options, always providing context and expert knowledge to help me make confident decisions. From countertops to tiles to flooring, Kayla accompanied me in selecting materials and took the time to explain the benefits and nuances of each choice. Her expertise and guidance removed a lot of the pressure and made the process seamless.

The construction phase, led by Sammy (Izzy’s brother), was equally impressive. Sammy’s communication was direct, prompt, and highly professional throughout the project. He kept me informed of progress and upcoming decisions, empowering me to stay involved without ever feeling overwhelmed. His consultative and knowledgeable approach made me feel like a true partner in the process, and I always felt confident in the progress and quality of the work being done.

Transforming a 1,500-square-foot home is no small task, but the Battres team handled every aspect with precision and professionalism. From the design to the execution, I felt like I was in great hands the entire time. My experience with Battres Construction couldn’t have gone better, and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again. Distance between Budapest (H) & Santa Ana (Cal.) is 10,006 km, but we were willing to travel whit our european RV them to come and see Izzy in the flesh. Unfortunately he was not there, but we were very well received by a lady from the company. Thanks to her. We are fans of Flip & Flop, you will have understood. The quality of his achievements continues to inspire us!

I really wish I could give them 5 stars because there were a lot of good things I could say about working with Battres, but they really just missed the mark in the end. My kitchen remodel was not completed by the date promised and their communication was not the best. I also had to point out a few things that were left unfinished or not to my expectation. They tried correcting a few things after, but the workmanship in the end felt rushed and a bit sloppy. I waited to submit this review to see if they would make it 100% right for us, but unfortunately they have not responded too well. In fact they want me to pay additional to get the perfect finishes (that I expected to begin with).

Poor customer service. Sales person Jonathan has missed appointments and no call backs. Failed to follow through on commitments to visit the home for estimates and design. We Do not recommend this contractor. We work too hard for our money too.

I had to call because nobody called me at the time selected. I was told that the person assigned in my email no longer worked there. The person i spoke to sounded like they were trying to deter me from moving forward because of schedule. Quoting prices of 150K over the phone to enclose a covered patio....... Without even offering someone to walk the property. I guess it must be nice to not need new business. Stick to TV Land
