I cannot begin to to say how completely satisfied we are with the basement finish job they did for us. The guys performed in a very professional and high quality manner. We had a few unrelated change orders that needed addressed and without hesitation they were done in a very high quality fashion. The most impressive thing about Baker Builders is they completed the job an I was only present about 25% of the time. Trust, quality and integrity. Thanks to Nick, Jay, Tom, and Ryan for a quality professional product. Makes a person feel good to know these type of companies still exist. Thank you all.

We hired Baker Builders to finish our basement; it is complete now and we are extremely happy with the results. We added 14K sq ft of finished space - a family room with a kitchenette, a bedroom, bathroom, and a workshop.

Travis and Jay were both very attentive and helpful and available throughout the build. All of their sub contractors were likewise great. All in all, a great experience!

Wanted to hire local (Frederick) so had someone come to get a quote for a HUGE
Project. We told him what we're wanting so he took some measurements. He said it would take a couple weeks to get the quote. Well 2 weeks came and went so he basically ghosted us. Can't imagine that's good for business. Oh well, Dun-Rite got our $80,000+ and we have an absolutely gorgeous remodel almost complete! Thanks Dun-Rite 10/10!! We will be recommending them to all our neighbors and friends! Guess sometimes

From the very first email inquiring about an estimate, to the last walk through when the project was completed (a few months later), we were beyond happy and amazed.

Everyone we worked with was responsive, timely and professional. From Nick - who handled our original estimate, to our superintendent Ryan - who truly became a friend of our family's, to Jay and Cynthia, along with all the others we worked with. There was never an issue to speak of. Even the contractors in our home were absolutely fantastic.

Never did we have any surprises, all of our wishes were met and our budget remained as quoted (even with a few changes we needed to make). After all was done, and Baker Builders was paid, we needed a few things adjusted, to which Jay and the team scheduled. Ryan ensured they were completed, and we were grateful. If you're needing professional, detail quality work, for the best price in Northern Colorado, then Baker Builders should be called.

Our family will, and have, recommended Baker Builders to anyone we know needing construction services. We will continue to do so!

All around, we had a decent experience with Baker Builders, but not without issues. Our basement was finished on time, handled professionally and the quality of work is good. Issues were addressed in a timely manner (those that can be addressed) and our superintended Travis was able to keep the project on track after taking over from the previous employee. Few issues that I would like to mention:

1. Concrete contractors, nor Baker Builder super at that time, covered our belongings in the basement on day 1 of the project. I even asked the contractors if the work they are about to perform will be dusty, they said no. An hour or so later we had concrete dust in the entire house. I was scrambling to shut off vents and to cover our items in the basement. We have yet to clean everything. Baker Builders did not offer to clean our basement for free of charge in the end of the project.

2. Framing contractors. After the drywall and painting we found that some walls are not straight. Some issues were due to pre-existing conditions, which nobody mentioned to us while the frames were put up, and some are likely due to mismeasurements\quality of work. Too late to fix it now, so we have few walls that are not straight.

3. Tile contractor. Poor quality of work all around. Had to point out several issues with the tile after being told that the work is done. In the end of the day, it felt like the contractor just wanted to be in and out and get the job done in one day. Our bathroom tile does not look great, but at least it’s presentable after numerous attempts to fix it.

4. Quality control can be better. Yes, we’re as owners try to pay attention to many things as well, but in many areas I wish some issues were first noticed by Baker Builders.

On a positive note, other contractors not mentioned here, were great. Baker Builder employees, starting from sales/project management/billing, were professional and responsive.

We had Baker Builders finish our basement in the Fall/Winter of 2016. They were professional, courteous, and honest. Multiple times during the project, they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the final results of their work.

In fact, one of the last items to arrive was a shower door that had been delayed in shipping (not their fault), and their crew came and installed it on very short notice around the holidays just in time for my in-laws to use the basement as their living space.

They were also very clear on pricing and there were no surprises there. Overall I'd recommend Baker Builders to anyone looking for a great contractor to work on their home.

We chose Baker Builders from the start because of their professionalism. We finished our daughters basement into a mother-in-law apartment. They weren't the highest bid or the lowest but seemed to offer the guidance that we needed. We met at their office and felt comfortable right away. Dustin Baker is a very honest man, Susanne, the designer did just that, she is great! I can't say enough about Jay the construction manager. He is prompt, has any issues addressed immediately and did a great job! Thank you Baker Builders for our lovely new home!
