Northwoods Retreat, a ministry of Silver Birch Ranch, is a year round multipurpose youth and adult retreat center located in White Lake, WI.
In Spring of 2023 plans were completed to construct a new 6,300 s/f single story lodge building consisting of new dining room and conference room. The new structure would be attached to an existing two story building which housed a commercial kitchen.
In July, Troy Beaber and B2Build was selected as the GC and challenged with providing a FastTrack project on time and on budget. In September, work began and by December the the new structure was in place and completely weathered in. This was made possible thru B2Build partnership with Wausau Homes. Without question this partnership significantly reduced the overall construction time and the new lodge building received its first guest in May 2024.
The project had some challenges, especially connecting a new structure to an existing. However, Troy and his group stepped up and met the challenge. Overall, we are delighted with the performance and professionalism that Troy and B2Build provided.

Working with B2 Build Design was very easy. Troy was always available to answer our questions. He had creative solutions to complex problems that can be involved when adding on to a preexisting structure. Troy always went the extra mile for us. The construction crew was friendly and professional. There were no delays. We also had our detached garage built by them. We are very happy with the results.

When we decided to do a remote build, we knew we wouldn’t be able to be as involved as we would like… so it was really important to us to find a builder that we knew we could work with, that held himself to high standards, and that we could trust.
