I highly recommend Tom Hechmer and his team at Atlas Shed. I ordered a 10’ x 4’ lean to roof style shed for our home in Alameda. During the initial inquiry and ordering process Tom was responsive and had answers to all my questions. After my initial order, Tom kept me apprised of the status of our build and worked with me to select paint colors and door hardware to match our home. Delivery was right on time and on-site assembly and fine-tuning install work took just two days. Tom made terrific suggestions for customizing our shed with shelving and a work bench that look great. The carpentry and detailing is top notch and the shed looks and functions exactly as I had hoped. Atlas even includes a heat reflector panel on the underside of the roof to help control heat levels within the shed. Tom is clearly a contractor who takes pride in his work. Great value for the money.

Good experience. Only company to offer removal of old shed and build custom size shed. Paid more but I like the end result. Tom really cares about his product.

It’s not often I write reviews but when a company and / or individual we hire to do a job goes above and beyond our expectations I feel inclined to do.

Earlier this summer while we were having some concrete work done @ the house I had a 10x12 pad poured behind our garage. When I finally had time to look for shed companies I came across Atlas Shed, I liked the look of the website and the pricing fell into line with what I'd expected to pay. I reached out to Roy Green and he came by to take a look at the pad location and we discussed colors, window locations, door size - he asked all the right questions (some of which I hadn’t considered) and there was no pushing for BS options / upgrades I wasn’t interested in.

I decided on a traditional Gable Shed … nothing too fancy but Roy went through the trouble of matching the paint, trim and shingle of our house which my wife had requested. Everything was going to plan until we decided we wanted a pretty substantial change to the roof line & height … mind you that this was after it was framed up so this was a real 'throw on the brakes" request. To their credit Roy and his excellent resourceful carpenters Estaban & James, instead of hanging us out to dry ("sorry can’t do it") and/or charging us an arm & leg for a change order, took the time to walk us through what they could do. It was such a relief that instead pushing back on our last second request they said ‘ok no problem lets build it how you want it”. The up-charge was very fair - in short Atlas Shed did the right thing which is rare in this day & age.

All said and done we got a beautiful shed that is extremely well built with an attention to detail - no open seams, no off center nails coming through joists, paint is prefect and we just had our first heavy rain and it stayed %100 dry - no leaks and no moisture seep etc.

We give Atlas Shed & Roy, James & Estaban a very big thumbs up! Great communication skills and they work hard to get you the shed you want.

Atlas Shed was amazing! Full customization of our shed and it was complete in 1 day! Roy and his team/partner were super friendly, professional, responsive, and did quality work very quickly. Price was also very reasonable, especially considering the high cost of wood these days. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants an affordable, high quality shed built quickly to perfection.

Recently bought a custom shed from Atlas. Roy came out to my home and helped me figure out what would fit, where the doors and windows should go, etc. He worked with his installation team and the finished shed looks great. Not the cheapest in town, but I got great customer service. I highly recommend Atlas Shed.
