Showed up at 9pm for a 5pm appointment. Did not make any effort to communicate about the delay. When he saw the appliance, he made up some excuses and didn't seem to know what was wrong. Said I'd hear back from him the next day. Two weeks later after no contact I called and he gave me the run around. Went with Appliance Service Company instead and was much happier.

They were dispatched through our home warranty company. Showed up 3 hours later than the time window provided. DJ came in and said yep, your dishwasher is old and needs to be replaced. $75 for the call. Offered to help move the new one in when it got delivered. He never returned any calls or texts and never sent in anything to our warranty company so we never got reimbursed for our new unit, he basically just stole $75 for nothing. Would not recommend.

DJ got back to me right away on a weekend to set up an appointment. He was able to walk me through a few steps over the phone without being condescending (unlike the first repair service I contacted). He was clean, polite, responsive, knowledgeable, and informative. He was able to fix the problem within 15 minutes and gave me some tips on some maintenance things I might want to consider. I would definitely use him again and highly recommend him for any service on any appliance.

I wish I had read the review from Julien Homestead before using, as I had a similar experience. I made an appointment for 8/5/23 to have my washer repaired. When he didn’t show up on time, I called him. He stated he had been tied up and arrived shortly after. At that time, he presented as very pleasant and professional. He assessed the washer and dryer and quoted being able to rebuild them at half the cost of replacing them, requiring 50% down which I happily paid. He said he would come the next day to fix the washer and would have the parts in the next week to complete the job. He came back as he promised and repaired the washer then ghosted me till 8/28 when I texted him. He made excuses including other work and social engagements. We agreed for him to come 8/30 which he no showed again making excuses. I texted him later telling him I no longer needed his services which elicited another excuse. I asked the cost of the job he had completed and how much money he had swindled me out of, which he then responded with a lower than original quote finally offering a refund. He offered to come 8/31and then ghosted me again. He did not call or text saying he was on his way only responding later with more excuses. I am still waiting on a refund and am surprised he is still in business with his lack of professionalism.

DJ is simply amazing, fast and reliable. Will use him again and again. Gives you a real-time on repairs, honest on costs and follows through very well. Whether be your washing machine or sink repairs or even hooking up an ice maker he's the one you want to call.

When my washer stopped working, and after getting the run around trying to get a service call scheduled with Sears (shortly after they shut down their store) I found this company's website and was pleasantly surprised when I was able to reach someone on a Sunday afternoon, and I was even more surprised when DJ offered to swing by to evaluate my broken washing machine within a few hours. DJ was very knowledgeable and courteous, and even though I ended up having to buy a new washer, DJ made the process as painless as possible, by removing my old washer, picking up and installing a new washer a lot faster than I expected! If you need something fixed and appreciate reliable and fast service, I highly recommend giving him a call! Thanks again!!

After initial contact and visit for find what may be wrong with appliance in November 2020. Owner said he’d order parts and get back to us. Didn’t hear a word from owner in December, called January 2021 the (first week ) owner used the excuse everything was still on back order. And delay due to COVID. Okay. Called again third week of January 2021, everything still on back order, month of February called twice everything on back order. It’s now March 2021, and I understand he the owner can’t help back ordered items: however he could of kept us the customers up-to-date as to the progress. When I contacted the warranty company, they told me that the service had been canceled through the service provider back in December. If he didn’t want to do the work he could’ve told us and we would’ve gone with somebody else. No follow through, no follow up, no contact since the initial call and visit. This is not what I called customer service. I would not recommend unless you want to wait for forever and you want to do the follow up work for him.
