Where to begin... This was the worst experience I've ever had with an organization that's supposed to serve the community. It feels like one of the most questionable aspects of Aspen/Pitkin County—even in a place where people like Bezos live. Just saying.

The favoritism shown to "friends" of the employees, along with the liberties those employees take to secure units for themselves, is beyond unethical. As someone who previously worked with Pitkin County, it’s disheartening to see the government take no meaningful action to reform this program. Outdated methods, unethical practices, and unqualified employees making significant decisions are a recipe for dysfunction.

It's genuinely sad to see such a poorly run organization operating unchecked in what is otherwise a lovely community. During my time living there—and even afterward—I tried for weeks to get correspondence on various matters. I would email 4–5 people in the office at once and still often receive no reply. The lack of accountability and professionalism is astonishing. Best of luck to anyone trying to navigate the APCHA world.

I understand that customer service is difficult but the lady at the front desk has never learned you catch more flys with honey than vinegar. There is no reason to be so abrasive over everything.

The girl who is working FD in Truscott office doesnt know her job. She will tell you one thing over the phone and another thing in the office. She definetely can use some customer service coaching sessions.

Not open during their operating hours. Stopped by 3 times in a week round 430 to drop off paperwork they requested and they are gone. 11-5 is not even a full day and they skip out early

No answer and the staff is so rude. We been locals for more than 6 years… people having 100,000 $ car and they have housing This is ridiculous.
