DO NOT HIRE Alpha Construct II for anything dealing with construction. This company is a fraud. I hired what I thought was a general contractor specialized in commercial building and what I received was unfinished poor quality work. This company doesn't stand by their core values. The poor quality work this company offered is not work of a general contractor who claims to have over 15 years of experience.
Travelis Russ over-promised and under-delivered. , I told Alpha Construct II the exact products and plans. The Alpha Construct II has done the exact opposite of what I wanted and did not get my approval for changes made outside the contract. Alphs Construct II left me stranded the night before my big grand opening. Alpha Construct II did not meet the deadline before my grand opening. Instead, heavy construction (building stages, sanding walls, wall dust, putting down floors, attempting to mopping floors) was still being worked on Friday night until 8:30pm.
I was not able to properly setup for my grand opening because of the heavy construction that was being done the night before. My team and I stayed until 330AM Friday night trying to clean up the mess Alpha Construct II left. I couldn’t do my wall drapery because all the walls were dirty with construction dust, uneven, and not properly sanded down. The stages were left undone, we couldn’t paint the stages, because the wrong materials were bought to make the stages.
They ruined by floors. They did not finish not one area, nor did they do it correctly. They cut corners, brought the cheapest materials, breach his own contract, did not honor the contract, did not get approval from me for all the changes he made, did what he wanted to do.
Alpha Construct II advised me prior to signing the contract that he had a full staff ready and available to ensure my project completion date. Alpha Construct II maybe had three unexperienced staff at most. Out of the three unexperienced staff, only one was there full time. Alpha Construct II staff were unprofessional, indolent, lack sense of urgency, damaged my personal property (ladder, walls, prep kitchen sinks, floors, sidewalk) (See pictures).
1. Staff used kitchen sinks to wash off paint brushes
2. Staff ruined the floors with paint residue
3. Staff did not have their own ladder, instead used my brand-new ladder, and left it with paint stain, dirt all over it
4. Staff threw paint water and water used to attempt to clean floors in the back of my building and it stained the ground
5. Staff brushed off mop and broom construction residue in the front of my building which is now stained (see pictures)
His crew were smoking Marijuana in my building even though I had no smoking sign.
All the walls that Travelis Russ and his unexperienced crew touched are all bad. All the walls they have done were not sanded down, they are all uneven and lumpy. They ran out of materials the night before my grand opening.
Travelis received 90% of payment for a job that I will have to hire another contractor to undo all of the poor work Alpha Construct II has done. Prior to Alpha Construct II doing work in my building, my building was in top notch condition. Alpha Construct II never took any precautions to protect my floors. All my floors are now ruined. All the floors are now stained from construction.
I sent an email to Travelis sharing my concerns and how unhappy I was. Travelis never acknowledge my email, never apologized for the condition he left my building in, never attempted to rectify the situation. When I finally recieved an email was after Travelis realized the check did not clear. After realizing the work was only about 50% done and was done poorly, I canceled the check. Even in his email, he did not apologize to me. Instead, he demanded more money and did not take any accountability for how he screwed me over with the project I trusted his company with.
The way Alpha Construct II have handled my project clearly speaks on their work ethic, who they are, and how they don’t take pride in the work and services that they offer.
