Allen Bontrager Carpentry did a fantastic job for us after a tornado hit our home. They installed a textured steel roof that looks timeless and classy along with providing lifetime performance and durability.

They were also able to handle fascia, soffit, eaves, downspouts, along with sending teams for our Trex deck and railing repairs, and even power washing and painting.

Everyone was honest, timely, responsive, accommodating and hard-working. We couldn't have been more pleased with the services they provided.

Bontrager Carpentry came and put a steel roof on our ranch home on a Saturday in October on 2020. Previously we always had a leakage by our big brick fireplace chimney where it met the roof. They repaired that in an impressive way so the problem is gone forever. We hired them to put a steel roof on our machine shed September 2024. That roof will last a life time because of there excellent installation methods. I'm 72 years old and have hired a lot of contractors. I wish they were all as good as Bontrager. When the tornado came through legend Lake a tree fell on my roof I called Bontrager and talked to Mark he came to my house right away and Mark took and fixed the leak on roof. I called my Insurance and Mark took control of the hole situation and took all the stress off me. He worked hard for me I would call for updates on insurance and he would call and talk to insurance I was so happy with his help and the work of my roof being fixed. I have to say I was thankful I called Bontrager I would give them a 10 n would totally recommend them

I am very happy with the roofing replacement that Allen Bontrager Carpentry did for me. Their prices were competitive, they use top quality materials, and they responded to my calls promptly. They held to their detailed estimate and even did some unexpected minor repairs without charge. They arrived on schedule with all necessary materials and completed the job on time, cleaning up well before leaving and calling back later to make sure I was satisfied with their work. Let me say that I've done 4 or 5 roof jobs myself when I was younger, but this project was just too much for me. In fact, I had one company drive out to give me an estimate and when they saw my extremely steep A-frame roof, they just shook their head and drove away. This was not an easy job, but Bontrager Carpentry never flinched. In this day and age where it's challenging to get construction companies to even respond to your phone calls, Bontrager Carpentry was there in a jiffy. I highly recommend this crew! I've had several compliments on the roof from neighbors.

I worked with Mark of Allen Bontrager Carpentry. It was an unusual experience. Mark said the crew would be there at 8:00 am, and they were! I’m sure, like many of you, there have been numerous times that you were waiting for the contractor to show up. The crew got to work immediately. They reroofed the cabin and built a type of dormer over the back porch. My wife, kids and I are really pleased with how the work turned out. The work was done at a reasonable price and completed within budget. The property was free of any waste once they were done. The whole project was completed by 5:00 pm. I can’t say enough about what a pleasure it was working with Mark and the crew!!!

I called Bontrager for the first time when we needed a new roof. They were prompt and courteous on the phone, showed up at the agreed upon time for the estimate, charged me a fair amount, then knocked out the work on the day we scheduled. The roof looks great and the build quality is outstanding. Even the difficult flashings are tight as a drum compared to the old roof. It doesn't get any better than this, and I will definitely call them for my next project. Thank you!
