AKM Contractors does high quality work and provide information on all materials used and the process of installation they are the real roofers 30yrs of quality work and not the highest in price. You get what you pay for with AKM Contractors. The Boss was the one shingling my roof not sure his age because he is in good shape but he did mention he is a grandfather. I felt comfortable knowing he was the one up there doing the work because I knew I could trust the quality.

AKM replaced the roof on my parents house and also repaired and replaced the storm damaged roof at our cottage. Did a great job on the roof and went the extra mile on areas of concern on the roof as far as future ice and water damage. Thanks for the great work!

Greg and his crew replaced the roof on my home using OC Duration Storm shingles. They did an excellent job and the price was a bargain. They went so far as to loosen the gutters and tuck the ice and water between the gutter and the facia. That is excellent and honestly I've never seen it done and I've been in the trades for forty years. They even finished on a Saturday to beat the weather. Using category 4 impact resistant shingles will save me $131 a year off my home insurance. Wow!
