In the aftermath of my mother's passing, we conducted a comprehensive estate sale. Janelle who identified herself as a representative of the Vandenberg Airman’s Attic proposed donating residual items to the Airman's Attic. This was a suggestion that resonated with me as a retired Air Force member. However, we were left with several substantial furniture pieces that were too much (at our age) to load and transport. Upon apprising Janelle of this challenge, she mobilized five trucks and volunteers to assist with the relocation. We were profoundly appreciative. This experience served as a testament to the Air Force community's enduring spirit, of which I am proud to be a retired member.
