I am very pleased with the outcome of renovations done by Team AHW! I discovered a slab leak in the master bed/bath rooms….it was somewhat difficult living through the demolition and rebuilding of the two rooms…but I just kept the end results in mind, and am not disappointed!
Owner Michael, project manager Ray, and all the crews were always friendly, polite, and most of all good at their jobs!! They work hard and efficiently.
I definitely recommend Affordable Home Works.

We kept getting mice in our kitchen and couldn’t figure out where they were coming from. Decided to gut the kitchen and seal all the walls and called Affordable Home Works and we are very glad we did! Mike was super helpful and quick to provide a digital layout based on the design we wanted.

They were able to compete the entire job in just a few weeks and met their deadline to have it done before we were set to host Thanksgiving. I was very impressed with the company as a whole but the owner Mike really took time to communicate with me and my wife and ensure we were taken care of. Ed - one of the construction guys was also very friendly and is a master at his craft. He also had great suggestions when we were stuck on a decision.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone with an insurance claim or simply wanted a room remodeled.

Our family extend our appreciation and thanks to the entire AHW team for restoring our home to better than pre-damage condition after a major water leak caused damage to our ground floor, including living room, dining area, kitchen, half bath and garage. Whether flooring, custom cabinetry, countertops, plumbing, dry-wall repair or painting, AHW brings the skills and expertise to complete restorations that will satisfy even the most exacting of clients. From our initial contact with office staff and throughout our experience with estimators, project managers and site builders, AHW exceeded all expectations. And AHW management went to bat for us with our insurance company and secured the funds needed to restore our home, even though it was thousands of dollars above what the insurance company had initially estimated. We are very pleased with how quickly AHW worked to restore our home; it feels like a new home all over again!

Eric and Ray came out to my home for some water damage I had from a water heater leak and they were super professional! Eric was super kind and ray as well! They sat there and broke everything down and explained how everything would go perfectly! Mike the owner is also a great guy! I would definitely use this company again no doubt! If you want good quality work with some great guys this is the company for you!

Update:
I was contacted immediately, by the owner and crew, the day after I posted my review. The scheduling error was explained, along with more of the process, and two guys were sent over for a consultation THAT DAY (a Friday)! I was elated at the urgent attention. The crew was kind, informative, and they took measurements photos and videos. I was told that I would receive a couple of estimates based on what was discussed the following Monday or Tuesday (December 23rd or 24th). I. Haven't. Heard. From. Them. Since. It feels like a violation that people were in my home and they have photos and videos of an intimate space... and they've left me in the dust AGAIN. 😔 So bummed out.

My consultation was scheduled a week in advance and was supposed to take place yesterday morning. Nobody showed up. Nobody called, texted, or emailed. Nobody contacted me to let me know they wouldn't make it or to reschedule! I'm not aware of another company that can help so I'm really really sad and disappointed. My family will have to deal with our dysfunctional bathroom, that could be making us sick, much longer I guess.

Thank you to Henry and the rest of the AHW crew for coming out to take care of the flooding in my kitchen. The incident occurred late at night and they were the only ones that answered and offered to come and evaluate and carry out the job. Their attention to detail caught the problem before it got worse. The workers were very presentable with their uniforms despite the late night call. Definitely will call them anytime we need work done in our home. Love the new kitchen!
